Can’t connect - frustrating

This is frustrating: I’m using the most up-to-date version of the app, I’ve checked that location services and Bluetooth are turned on on my iPhone, and that the washer-dryer is turned off. I’ve also successfully scanned the product number and tried registering it as both a washer and a dryer (as washer-dryer isn’t given as an option), but it just repeatedly says that the ‘device could not be found.’

I appreciate this could either be a software problem with the app, or a hardware problem with the machine (which might be out of the app developer’s control), but either way it comes across as shoddy: other reviews suggest this isn’t an isolated problem, or a quirk of the machine I’ve bought. I understand that things go wrong, but it sounds from the reviews that this has been a long-standing problem which hasn’t been addressed.

I have sympathy for developers trying to get complex products/apps to talk to one another, but I’ve paid several hundred pounds for something that doesn’t do what it has been advertised as doing. Fortunately , the machine works without the app, but I don’t imagine I’ll buy anything by Beko again unless this is fixed.

Doesn’t connect, no matter what you try

Very technically able user, but I cannot get this to work no matter what I try. Also I hate the fact you have to provide your email address and personal info in order to start to use this app. Anyway, I can add a device to my account, but it remains in a continuous “trying to connect” state with the device. Tried absolutely everything multiple times to connect, and on multiple devices too. The app is completely shoddy, no support, no decent FAQ articles. Nothing works, including their website as I tried contact via the online web form, but the “send” button for the form doesn’t even work. I can’t see any email address where I can get help.

Please provide an email address in response to this review.

In summary; this is an absolutely ridiculous app. I can’t believe Beko have partnered with this sub par scam company. If I could give this experience -100 stars I would.

Terrible App update June 2020 Turkish language used in menu options and start options as well

App was working great until app update June 2920. I only use it to set the timer to start a wash/dry on the washer about 5 am the next day when on cheap electric rate.
New app would not load, kept crashing so deleted app and downloaded new version again, this worked ! You are supposed to be able to load previous ‘family’ settings easily but still had to reload washer details/ serial no etc again, after several attempts and 30 minutes successfully regained access to my previously working remote app.
Ah cannot set timer to run washer at a set time the next day, it defaults back to present date and time and runs machine then, not when I e we want.
Some of the menu options and ‘buttons’ to set timer etc are in TURKISH!!!! Not a language I’m good at, Jockanese and UK English only I’m afraid. Even the page headers for the legal definition page is in TURKISH!!!!
Have tried setting a ‘rule’ to enable the washer to run next day, even with that the rule settings are ‘OPEN’ and ‘CLOSE’ when in reality it appears to mean ON and OFF .
In short taken a app that eventually worked and re-coded it to be crap again.
At least I think I can start to understand the meaning of a couple of Turkish words
