Incredible
I don’t normally write reviews. But this app really warrants a 5 star rating.
I used this with my mate during interrailing around Europe and it enabled us to always find incredible places to stay.
It is easy to use with a system that easily allows me to tell it how many people I’m booking for, when I want to stay, and where. Beyond that I can choose a huge amount of filters to find an ideal place easily.
Once I’ve used the filters to find eligible places, it’s like being in a very user friendly candy shop of hostels. Ranking the hostels in a clear way, while also showing me photos and information as well as average room prices for my stay meant budgeting was a breeze.
Every place we went with the app was just as described and it really took all of the stress and hassle of booking out of the equation with the very easy to use in app booking system.
Often within five minutes I had found a brilliant place to stay, I knew where it was, what to expect, and had booked myself in all within the app.
This really takes so much stress out of travelling and makes me want to use hostels so much more because of how easy it all was!
A solid 5/5 for everything from design to user friendliness to capability.
Love hostel world app but needs a wishlist option
Love the hostelworld app, always use it for travelling but I haven’t been in a while and no longer seem to see the option to favourite and save hostels for diff locations- this is frustrating because sometimes i like to look up options in advance and save them so it’s nice & quick to book once I firm up my plans as I move on the road. Please bring back this feature- I’m sure it used to be there! If not, please create one :)

I truly love hostelworld even before the app but
but..however I am having some troubles.
Yahoo is not being honest with their users
I have even been phishing with fakes purchases. I am truly thankful with app store services because they noticed and warned me and other users about these situations. I love my hostelworld account however I am not being able to change my email account from the settings, so or I will have to create a new one or stop using it. The saddest in all this is that I will lose my account when I shut down my yahoo account besides I will lose all my memories from the places I had stayed for so many years. It is not secure having my credit cards data associated with an yahoo email account. I hope customer services will give me some positive answer.
