It appears that the highlights tab has been replaced with for you; tailored by tracking you I’m led to believe, whilst this is unwelcome I can appreciate the logic. However, for me it has removed the USP in my opinion. I could trawl through the highlights tab and find things that I never knew I needed, and rarely using hot and commented tabs. And if I wanted to find the best deal for something I can do it myself. Please, can you bring back the highlights back so I can enjoy impulsively buying things that I did and didn’t need.Edit: After feedback from the developers, I was able to have my highlights tab back. Happy to have it back the way I like it. I really feel like the tailored “for you” wasn’t helpful for me; the deals were scatter gunned and didn’t feel relevant for me. There was some really random things being suggested for me.

Hi,If you don't want the "for you" tab anymore you can just disable the personalization in the privacy settings of the app. :)
Group Settings

I’ve been using HUKD for years now but the recent update has removed the ability to have the homepage sorted by a group by default. Every time I load up the app I have to navigate to the Groups section and then choose the group for that app session. I then have to do this again if I check the following day.It’s really frustrating as I don’t care about general hot deals but only those for the group I’m interested in.I know I can still select the group but it’s no where near as useful as before and I’ve found myself going from checking all the time to clicking on the app every now and then which will mean I’ll definitely miss out on great deals.

TLDR: After 5 days of this update I don’t use the app now. Only the website when I’m at my computer. Please revert or give us an option for more compact view/cards.Its horrible going from seeing 4 deals on screen to 2 and providing zero extra info than before. They take up far too much room!Also the settings for the default feed for new and hottest are the wrong way round. New brings up hottest and hottest brings up new.Maybe it’s just me/confirmation bias but feels like the site is a lot quieter these last few days and I wonder if the update has anything to do with it.This update is boarder line the last straw for me on this site. As others have pointed out there seems to be inconsistent application of the rules to who can post deals. There are more and more hoops to jump through. Some get removed while other users end up posting the same deals without issue. Or when pointing out identical deals have been posted in the past we’re told they’re different (They’re not). It’s really diminishing the community feel of this site over that last couple years or so. I appreciate moderation is needed and the staff members do a great job but the reins feel too tight.
Excessive notifications have ruined keyword alerts

HUKD have started abusing access to my notifications (which I only granted initially so that I could get keyword alerts) by posting incessantly about specific deals which I am not interested in. Today’s example is the eBay 20% off offer - I saw it this morning, and did not need a further 3 notifications throughout the day. If there was an option to only keep keyword alert notifications, I would opt for that, but no such option exists. As such I’ve disabled notifications from the app altogether, which is a shame as the keyword alerts was the great thing about the app in its early days.
