Description

I Am Sober is more than just a free sobriety counter app.

Along with tracking your sober days, it helps you build new habits and provides ongoing motivation by connecting you to a wide network of people all striving for the same goal: staying sober one day at a time.

Through our growing sober community you can learn from others and contribute by sharing insights and tactics that have worked for you.

**The I Am Sober app features:**

• Sober day tracker
To visualize how long you’ve been sober.

• Remember why you quit
Add reasons and photos to help you remember why you want to quit your addiction and stay sober.

• Daily pledge tracker
Take a pledge every day. Sobriety is a 24-hour struggle, so start your day off by making a pledge to stay sober. Then you can review how your day went and log notes at the end of the day.

• Sobriety calculator
View how much money & time you’ve saved by being sober.

• Analyze triggers
Recap each day and find patterns that made your day easier or more challenging than the last.

• Share your story
Either with others or for yourself, take photos and journal your progress directly in the app. Then choose to share it or save it as a reminder for yourself.

• Milestone tracker
Track and celebrate your milestones from 1 day, to 1 week, to 1 month and beyond. Compare experiences with others on their sober journey. Read how they felt at this milestone and what you can expect. If you’re struggling, share your story and invite others to offer help or advice.

• Withdrawal timeline
When you create an account and declare your addiction, you can instantly see a withdrawal timeline to get an idea of what to expect for your next few days (and weeks). What’s more, you can contribute to it. See how many others saw an increase in their restfulness vs those that saw an increase in anxiety. Prepare yourself for what’s to come in recovery.

• Customize your experience
You set the time, your sober birthday, the category of motivation you need, the addictions you’re trying to break, even the end-of-day summaries. Make the app customized to your lifestyle and tailored to your needs.

**Sober Plus subscriptions**

I Am Sober is free to use, but you can support development of the app with a subscription to Sober Plus. With Sober Plus, you'll get access to these premium features:

• Create a group
Stay accountable together and track your sobriety privately. Groups are great for complimenting your real-world group like Alcoholics Anonymous, NA, SA, SMART Recovery, or your rehab center.

• Locked access
Keep your trackers private with a lock that you can access via TouchID or FaceID.

• Data Backups
Save your progress in the cloud and restore your trackers if you get a new device.

• More tracking
Track more addictions and get access to more communities. Even if your addiction is specific like Wine, Online Shopping, or Skin Picking, you’ll find a variety of communities of people who are all trying to get sober from alcohol, drugs, eating disorders, self-harm, and more.

Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. I Am Sober Plus automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and the cost of the renewal will be identified. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

If you’re determined like I am to quit you’re vices/addictions mine being an alcoholic cocaine addict/ nefarious narcotic abuser, I would first recommend NA CA AA it is vitally important you attend the fellowships and get the support from other addicts as they are the only people who have lived you’re pain and can guide to a better life beyond you’re wildest dreams and I mean that. But what this App will do is provide support alongside you’re journey it’s a brilliant recorder of you’re recovery and can help process you’re day and be motivational but for me as someone who doesn’t like people on their phones all the time and much prefers pen to paper and a 12 step program. DO NOT think this app is all you need to beat you’re addictions you are an addict and help and with just this app I believe you would relapse sooner or later without human help ie the program, Also I’m not one of these preachers or cult promoters as I have my own misgivings about being a member of the groups but after 25yrs of using im 3 weeks clean tomorrow for the first time in my teenage/adult life yes it’s the first time I’ve actively tried to stop with the intention for ever/ 1 day at a time but that In itself works. I wish all my fellow addicts the hope and courage to be the people they are meant to be clean productive and at peace. Love you all help is there and in the love of strangers, stay safe and stay clean my lovely’s Xxx

blown away

I am seriously blown away by the support and sense of community on this app so I am shocked to see some of the reviews complaining about exactly that. The community is the best thing about this app. I downloaded it under the impression that I would just have a daily counter informing me how many days I’ve been sober. This app has taken it a step further by giving us the opportunity to connect with people in the same situation as us and anonymously if that’s what we wish. It is genuinely an incredible app and I’ve only had it less than a day! It’s better than I could have imagined and I really appreciate that the creators of this app made the community for everyone and not just for subscription only and I believe that really shows that they are genuine in why they have made this app and that money is not the reason. Also the fact that it’s only £30/40 for the year. I’ve never ever until today thought oh that annual subscription might actually be worth it. So thank you for this app! I’m only 2 days sober but I know that I will make it longer than I originally thought thanks to this.

Nice non judgemental sober counter

I like how there is a reset button so if you fall off the wagon it's one click to reset the start date you don't have to go through all sorts of tabs or delete and reload it coz you'll feel stupid enough having to go back to day zero so the fact it's a very under the radar click to reset is good could use more free support I don't like you have to pay for help but I'm coming off heroin crack and methadone all at once cold turkey so I'm happy there's chance to add my three (methadone isn't on the list though it's more addictive than heroin and takes 30 days of withdrawals to come off of not 4 like heroin or 24 hrs for crack) would be good for the app to recognise once you hit the withdrawal milestone i.e. Day 5 clean of heroin is the withdrawal is done physically u are on the home straight reminding people they've passed the hardest but would be hugely motivating. And the first 24 hours off crack are the hard bit after that you stop climbing the walls honestly so little reminders that's it you've done the hardest bit at these points would be great
