Inkitt is a really great app to get free ebooks to read offline and online and is easy to navigate and use. It’s entertaining, and interesting to read books and stories from authors of all ages and backgrounds and the app has many unique and fun features such as beta reader groups and a complex reviewing system involving stars for writing style and plot so that authors know what to improve on. As well as this, the feature where you can change page colour and font size is a nice touch that makes the reading experience stand out from other apps. My only issue with the app is the bots/inappropriate users who follow people and try to share inappropriate content, however Inkitt does always ban these users quickly and handle this issue, in my opinion, well. Overall, I would recommend to both writers and readers alike as it is a great platform to share stories on, and there is something for everyone. Keep up the good work!

For the first year or so using Inkitt it was quite good, I use wattpad but due to changes decided to try out Inkitt, some of the problems I had was were my books that I had saved were and I couldn’t figure out how to delete books. Whether that’s just my own stupidness or an actual issue I don’t know but apart from that it’s was good. But a couple of days ago I went onto the app to find all my stuff deleted and my account gone, it tried to log in again and it wasn’t working so I then tried to reset my password because maybe I had a different password that I just for got so it said that it sent the email, and I never got that email so I done it a couple of times and it wasn’t working my email is synced to my phone so every time I send or receive and email I get notified on my account but I received no email and when I tried to make a new account I used the same email but different password saved some of the books that I had lost and got off the app and carried on with my day but I go on again and the blank page, library and lists again. Honestly I liked this app but it’s really annoying and some of the books I can’t for the life of me remember the names but now I’ve lost that and to be honest it’s a bit sad and annoying because i really liked this app.

I spend WAY too much money on books on a weekly basis, because I love the feel of holding a book and turning a page, me and my kindle have never had a good relationship, HOWEVER Inkitt is great! The variety of books is amazing, and the ease in which you can create your own libraries, give feedback and interact with the authors makes me feel more connected to the stories and characters. As an aspiring author it’s super easy to write and publish either complete works or chapters as you write! The only improvement would be to be able to view the screen on my iPad horizontally as well as vertically as writing and reviewing my chapters in the app editor before publishing (as I have a keypad attached to my iPad and at the moment it’s difficult to type on the keyboard and review my chapters).

This app is pretty good where the books are concerned, great range of material to read really. However the app itself has had quite a few glitches while I’ve used it. One of the cases is whenever I’m reading it just closes abruptly then I have to open the app all over. When I do sometimes it opens to right where I left off but the moment I start to swipe it takes me back one chapter...then it may or may not shut down again but this happens so frequently while I’m using the app. Yesterday I updated it, apparently it included some bug fixes and what not but it didn’t fix anything. In fact I have a new problem now. It does the shut down thing and now when I open the app I can’t see the app home page, like I’ve just closed the book I’m reading and for some reason my screen is white, the home page has been loading forever and I just need someone to fix it please. Reading isn’t meant to be this stressful.
