The game and graphics itself is great, just like the other total wars I’ve played on other platforms, but this one is the first I’ve played on my new MacBook Pro and the frame rate constantly drops or freezes every 5 seconds which makes any sort of gameplay a long and frustrating experience. This is a shame as I love these games and was really hoping it would work well on this device!

After recent mac and game updates, this is now running on full steam. It has returend to true Total War form, and is in my opinion the best Total War game available on mac by a country mile. The campaign system is well structured, with many playable factions and huge unit variety. The heroes are also well varied, and can provide a campaign map benefit, or embed in an army. This provides huge flexibility in how you manage your empire, and how you fight your battles. Heroes do not die of old age, which removes some of the exhausting process of hiring/replacing heroes. The graphics are great, and now really stable. The cities and maps look amazing, and it truly is a beautiful game. The accessibility to the lore is great, with detailed unit descriptions and special rules. It really brings to life the world of GW. They have really knocked this one out of the park. It is a great game to play, beautiful to look at, and really is the most honed gameplay yet from these guys. More than worth the money. My only request - can we have Total War II on the mac as well!

Hi ive owned the game for nearly a month and the first time i opend it it worked but everytime since it lets me click play and then just crashes very frustrating any help or if i could get refunded for thsi would be helpful

Hi, I have purchased this game and tried 3 times to install. it downloads, and then gets to 1 hour 16 minutes to complete installation and then just stops - please tell me how to get a refund - really not interested in the game at all now!
