I really liked the site but this site has too many bots playing against you and they will win regardless. Also a couple of weeks ago my account with them got hacked and someone took over 2000.- pounds from me ( which Facebook refunded me after i reported it to PayPal ) I DID NOT EVEN RECEIVE AN APOLOGY FROM LORD OF THE BOARD CUSTOMER SERVICES " although this was clearly a DATA BREACH ! At that stage i had 70 million coins, one would think thats a lot but the challenges and everything else requires you to play quite high and within 3 days they cleared me out! Just in case you (Customer services) answer me, please spare me the random dice lecture, you give to everyone who complains. Its not the dice that makes the game but the program! It really is a shame because the principle of this site is great and the idea is fun but you can't expect people to pay hundreds of dollars for virtual money

After playing this game for a while, I struggled to work out why my intuition on doubling seemed so off. I already knew that you lose 15% of winnings, but even then I seemed not to be gaining nearly as many coins as I should, resulting in me rarely managing to build up much money and play at the more skill based tables.Here’s the problem: when you accept or propose a double in a game, the game artificially “removes” this stake from your total coins. What’s the problem with that? It means that instead of gaining 85% of the doubled stake - say (on the $400) table $680 - you earn 85% of the doubled stake AND only 85% of the money you “staked” in the first place. That means you only get 70% of your winnings! I believe this is compounded when you have quadrupled with the cube - you only get 40% of what you’re supposed to earn! More investigation is needed over gammons and backgammons (which often matter little since they can frequently be avoided by resigning).It took me a while to actually work this out, so I imagine a lot of people are playing and wondering why they can’t seem to get much money together - it can’t be argued that this is just the house rules and they’re obvious from the beginning, this is not obvious and SERIOUSLY intereferes with doubling strategy to the extent it’s hardly like playing backgammon at all.For this reason this app is not suitable for playing realistic backgammon even with friends.

I enjoy playing this game, but when are you going to fix the ‘glitch’ that takes twice the coins than it should? When you accept a double and then go on to lose the game, it sometimes takes the coins twice, eg I’m playing a 100,000 game, double to 200,00 and the game takes 400,000 when i lose! I have lost millions of coins like this and it’s getting rather tiresome. Will you fix this error? Will you compensate me for the coins lost? Probably not. You will more than likely keep ripping people off. Please fix it! So I haven’t heard back about this issue, which still continues. Here’s an example that just happened. I had 905,000 coins and played a 150,000 game. Balance now showing 755,000. I accepted a double, balance now showing 605,000. Now here’s the kicker, I lose. My balance at the end? You’d expect it to be 605,000, but oh no, the robbing Lord of the board takes ANOTHER 600,000. My balance is now 5,000. How does a doubled 150,000 bet cost me 900,000 coins?!?! In my estimation I have been robbed upwards of 25,000,000 coins over the past few months (and I think this is probably a conservative estimate). So “Lord”, please have the decency to respond and pay back the coins that are rightfully mine. This is outright fraud.

Haven't played Backgammon for a number of years but I've probably played about 20 games on here and I think the dice rolls are a bit of a joke. Anybody whose played the game knows you get the odd game where everything goes against you but I'm no mathematician but this really is joke. Decent graphics and playability but that's about it. So much so I'm just about to delete it. Further to the response from the developer below; I reloaded the game and have played it near daily and several times in a sitting. What I've found seems to be an unusual bias (in my view) to players that have a high rating. Whether these players buy chips or not I don't know and they might be better at the game than me, but the rolls these high level players get are literally unbelievable. I just wondered if other players have had a similar experience. Other than that the game is great.Game is a joke, second time I’ve loaded the game and it’s an absolute joke. Dice are so rigged it’s unreal. Graphics great but rather than try to get you to buy credit just let the game play FAIRLY. Sure other people have found this too.
