I didn't need one of the over complicated stand alone task managers where you spend more time organising than doing, but I did want something MUCH more versatile than Apple Reminders - and yet i still wanted that too because I use it to share lists with others in the Apple environment.Well GT ticks all those and more. It is incredibly versatile and incredibly customisable. Since you can tailor it to your own personal needs it should have a much broader appeal because everyone's needs are different. Updates and enhancements come regularly, and the occasional inevitable glitch is always resolved quickly. Hence my 5* rating.

Just one example is when using it for work I have it set up and a Kanban board using Tags. ie, Inbox, Backlog, In Progress and it works great. I also like the up next board and how you work through the sub tasks to complete the main task. The customisation is unreal. I wish I had found this earlier but since buying on iOS I have now purchased the Mac version.Great app and looking forward to seeing whats to come for GoodTask in the future.

- Duplicate as Task: ‘Start Date’ and ‘End Date’ option added. When new task is made, due date will follow event’s start date or end date according to this setting

Better Tag Management
This update includes various improvements to tag management:
• Tags start with the # symbol and are case-sensitive.
• Separate handling of tags: Tags are now saved in the notes field as before, but they are managed separately in GoodTask. You can easily manage tags on a task. (In the notes field, as visible in the Reminders app, tags will appear on the last line separately. Other tags within the notes or title will remain visible but won’t be managed separately. Better Tag Management
This update includes various improvements to tag management:
• Tags start with the # symbol and are case-sensitive.
• Separate handling of tags: Tags are now saved in the notes field as before, but they are managed separately in GoodTask. You can easily manage tags on a task. (In the notes field, as visible in the Reminders app, tags will appear on the last line separately. Other tags within the notes or title will remain visible but won’t be managed separately. Various improvements have been made along Calendar Events.

- Duplicate as Task: ‘Start Date’ and ‘End Date’ option added. When new task is made, due date will follow event’s start date or end date according to this setting
