I’m so pleased to have this app. I regularly need to Zoom, but unforeseen when I purchased my laptop was the need for a webcam. I purchased a webcam, but results were very poor due to low resolution, really bad looking results on screen. So with this app, you can just use the superb camera on iPhone (mine is 8 plus) whilst using my laptop for Zooming. So basically, thanks to this app I have a free top quality webcam. Pairing is easy peasy. Go to the web address provided in the app description, download the windows program, install, open it, and it tries to pair with the app on my iPhone. Worked first time. Result is that I was pleased to step up from the free version to pay for the advert free version. Highly recommended. PS: You can also use the iPhones microphone as well as the camera. Also, the back camera works much better than the screen front one.

I don’t understand how people struggle to use this app, yes the free version is heavily restricted because they want to make money, but for $13 you get a year to use the platform, and its perfect for those who want to use their phones as webcams, I’ve never had any issues with connectivity or getting it to work on any device for that matter, some people are just genuinely tech illiterate. don’t listen to them.

Picked up this app because it was free to try- it instantly paired with the desktop software and turned my phone into a camera I could stream through OBS with. Since it’s effectively a wireless, battery powered IP camera it’s also easy to grab for shooting (in range of WiFi) on the go.The only downside is that that you can’t remotely control the exposure and zoom, you can change these with gestures on the phone itself but once you’ve mounted your camera in a grip stand it’s not easy to access the screen for fine tuning.

Context: I’ve been using this for a while to link my phones microphone to my PCDownsides: It does have a watermark if your using video (but not as big as others i’ve seen). It also has one full-screen advert soon after you open the appI also got prompted to buy the full version earlier today, when I rejected it, the app gave me a prompt to watch a 60-second advert in order to keep using the app (said ‘continue using full version’, so idk what that’s about)Upsides: Free, does the job for what I need it to do, but I don’t know if I could recommend it to anyone who Takeaway for me: If your okay with getting slightly annoyed and you don’t plan on using video too often (audio only), it’s a great app but i’m sure there is a better way of getting the same functionality whether it’s a different app or if it’s a manual way of doing it
