Significant Improvement Over Other Contacts Apps, Needs a Few Tweaks

First of all, the interface and general experience of this app is quite good and even fun! The way that it is accessed is also very good. You can put it in a separate window in it’s own desktop or just have it pop up. It works very quickly. The recent contacts is an excellent feature. Text recognition, as with Fantasical is the best that I have encountered on any app. The few tweaks would be the following: (1) allow user to set a series of default fields that will come up for new entries (and can be changed later to different defaults), (2) allow for merging of contacts, (3) in additional fields pop-up menu, have one for first-name and last-name as one entry->very useful for entries that begin with a business, followed by a primary contact person, (3) under “related contacts” allow custom names, e.g. work placement, placement officer, (4) allow for card duplication to make similar contacts entry easier, (5) some sort of save protection feature would be helpful when adding a new contact warning that a contact has not yet been saved. But, well imagined and genuinely useful.

Contacts but way more useful

I never used the native Contacts app before, but Cardhop has made managing and interacting with contacts a breeze, primarily due to it's nifty task bar interface which can be accessed with a shortcut and quickly navigated with natural language input. Let's say I want to send a WhatsApp message to "James", all I do is hit the hotkey and type "call jam" which Cardhop will accurately guess what i'm going to finish with, hit enter and WhatsApp is opened with the textbox focused, ready for me to type my message to James. The same applies to call, sms, email, message etc. assuming you're using iPhone with continuity. It's also great for grabbing info, for example "copy James work" will allow me to quickly copy specific info like work email, home phone etc.The only issue I have is that the Facebook messenger integration uses the website version which is unusable to me as I usually need to re-log in to Facebook, but for everything else, it's awesome.

Best contacts app!

Cardhop has an easy to use and nice to look at UI. It makes managing contacts a breeze and removes the frustrations of the stock contacts app. It delivers the high quality you'd expect from the Flexbits team just like their Fantastical App.The stock Apple Contacts app is clunky and it's far to easy to duplicate contacts by mistake, groups don't really work etc. Cardhop makes it super easy to group and manage contacts, add notes see upcoming birthdays and more. The best part is, Cardhop syncs everything with your stock contacts app! I've been using this app for about 6 months and have loved it - and it's now on iOS too! Give it a try and you'll never go back.
