The app charges a lot of money if you want to finish reading a book. It starts free and after few chapter you have to use coins to buy chapters some start at 20 coins them they just add up as they want. Once you start to pay for coins the chapters cost even higher. I recently spent over £200 buying coins because it offer bulks which makes you think you will be able to read all the book but them it only allow to read few chapters. Recently I bought a package costing $20 dollars for 2000 coins plus 1400 free coins and all that I was able to read was 3 chapters and all the coin disappeared. I tried to contact them many times but unsuccessful. I made a complaint on MoboReader complaint board about 3 weeks ago and so far haven’t heard anything from them. So disappointed and frustrated because there are some good stories to read but it is ridiculous how they treat the customer and the amount of money they expect you to pay to read a book.Don’t bother about uploading the app and if you see a good story that you can only read there forget about unless you are willing to pay a huge amount of money to read it.Advice stay away from it.

In terms of the quality of the content, I’d say Mobo has good stories to read and keep you entertained. They also have great ways for player to earn free coins if they do not want to spend. I’d have rated this app 5* if it weren’t for the fact that no matter how much bonuses you earn nor how forgiving the free bonus system is, it’s all overshadowed by the awful pricing for chapters; even though you could earn up to 150 bonus a day, it can only cover at key 2-3 chapters because of its pricing, and some of these stories have over 300+ chapters- I do not wish to spend 180+ days to finish a story. Alongside the mentioned above, paying for coins is overpriced af, even its subscription model is horribly overpriced. I’m not saying you shouldn’t charge for books but that it shouldn’t be so expensive to read your books. Spending almost(and sometimes over) £100 to complete 1 book is quite frankly unheard of.

MoboReader app is the best app as it got very novels with interesting stories. When you start reading a story you won’t want to keep it down, but unfortunately MoboReader app is quite expensive compared to other apps. One of the novels I finished reading sometimes cost me a hundred plus coins to read one chapter and converting the points to coins takes a day just to get only 20 coins which is not enough to read a chapter, and because it’s expensive when one recharges you only get to read a few chapters. I hope MoboReader Team will do something about the conversion to least 50 coins, and also reduce the cost of reading a chapter by making it consistent. The novel I’m currently reading sometimes costs 28 coins for some chapters and 35 coins for another chapter yet it’s the same book. I don’t know why some chapters are more expensive than others on the same novel.Thanks for your hard work.
