I think its a very good product and developer seems to be responsive and adding new things to it. I like to write my journal in it. Why 4 stars becuase it's hybrid ownership model with semi-sub and i don't like subs in general and never will

Can only give this 4 stars. To be fair i will give my reasons. There are likes and dislikes and the dislikes mean i can’t give it 5. First i like the layout of the app. I am a blind user and find it easy to get around the app and it works good with voiceover. Now the not so good bit. When i read through my entries it can’t read longer ones in there entirety. You have to hold your finger down on the entry and select edit from context menu. Then you can read the whole entry. When you close the entry the app doesn’t put you back in the place where you were on your journal. You find yourself back at the beginning. Not good for me as i have over 2000 entries on there. I find support not to bad but they are never there so i hardly ever get to ask them anything. I have managed to ask them a couple of questions but not recently. I need to ask them about my reading problem i described above. I know people are at home due to corona but you can’t even email the developer. If you can email them there is no way of doing it on the help section in the app. This is bad as i am a life member. This is why i can only give a rating of 4. Would not have hesitated in giving 5 if i could read my entries properly. I hope someone sees this and tells me how to read longer entries and be where i was on my journal when i close the entry. Then i will change my rating to 5 as it’s a good app. The delete function doesn’t work either. You find an entry you want to delete and move your finger to the right. You see the trash button. If you tap it, the app crashes. This makes it hard if you want to get rid of a large number of entries. Importing is a bit of a mess. To be fair we are warned about the risk of duplicate entries in the help section. If you could delete entries quickly and easier, it wouldn’t be such a problem.
