Stunning resource but why can’t you edit the content in vr mode? You have to close and reopen so you are not in Vr mode, then edit what you are looking at and then go back to be mode - it’s not good.Also resizing in vr mode is really glitchy you have to turn it off and on again to make it work.But it’s a nice app all the same

Beautiful App but incorrect information

This app is beautiful. What it can do to show you the body put this in my opinion head and shoulders above other anatomy apps it is amazing. The issue I have is that some of the information they provide about the body is incorrect and there are spelling errors. I have sent them 3 separate emails each showing the errors I have found and the company are very good in that they reply in great time and let me know they will update the app for the next role out with the corrections. The customer service is fantastic. But what else is wrong that has not been found? We have paid for a medical resource which is inaccurate.

Hello GregFarmer, thank you for your feedback. Currently we are overhauling the written content in our app so that it is as accurate as our model. Where many other anatomical models provide sparse written content or repeated content for many structures, we have an editorial team working with Subject Matter Experts across several different Universities to create up to date information from several different sources (which will also be referenced within the app). The most important thing is that this new written content will be peer-reviewed. This content will contain information on each individual structure as well as broader concepts such as complete systems. You can find the first roll out of this content in our CA 2019 release, where we will have updated written content for the thorax, upper limb, female pelvis and micro anatomy models along with Parts, Surfaces and Landmarks & OI spot functionality. We hope that from this roll out you will see 3D4Medical endeavors to provide our users with the most accurate content, model or written alike and if you stick with us, you’ll see the entire model updated in due time. Our medical team welcome any and all feedback and will try to correct errors as quickly as possible, we rely on our users to ensure we are the number one anatomical product in the market.
Complete anatomy but limited uses
i wanna gooooooo!!!!
This app requires internet connection DESPITE being able to download stuff. I purchased it to be able to do course offline, for example when on long flights. I spent a bit of time to download all the courses I am interested in only to have a message pop up that internet connection is required. WHY?!So yeah, content is great, but with no wifi on airplanes, poor wifi on trains and extremely bad wifi in hospitals, the usability of really great content is very limited. One has to be at home, at their desk, enjoying the super fast wifi to be able to use the app for anything other than models. Models work offline.
