GEtting better all the time
old retired man.
it can be a little difficult to change something in aproject once your well into it. but generally its quite simple to use. the only thing i miss is a tilt function so for instance you are able to tilt a window or wall. but its certainly improved a lot since it first came out.
Fun however some features don't work for me

I am really enjoying designing our new home before we move in. However, I am working on a macbook pro with touchpad and find the camera navigation sometimes difficult. Also, I cannot copy projects so that I can try out different versions without having to re-do everything up to the point (the duplicate project button is greyed out even though I am using the paid version). I contacted the developers about this a few days ago and never got a response. The copying of items sometimes glitches as well with them appearing at a certain y coordinate in the floorplan from which they are impossible to drag away. That slows down the whole process a lot. I also would love it if whole floors could be copied and pasted to another floor which at least in my setup does not work. Another helpful feature would be little descriptions of items when hovering over them with the mouse. Overall fun but also a bit glitchy.

3d view is dissapointing

Lighitng is broken using metal (too dark), and needs an option to reduce the 3d real time rendering resoltuion. It nly gives the option to adjust rendering quality, but would be more logical to offer a reduction in real time rendering resolution to increase FPS, as retina resolution is overkill and kill performance. 1/4 resolution would be sufficient. Also depseratley needs a walk around mode for 3d as a seconary option as the curent camera system just isnt as useful for me to appreciate a design compared to being able to walk aound like it were a video game level. U.I is great but overall I won't be using the app due to inabilty to adjust real time rendering resolution and no walk around camera option.

Hidden costs and lack of flexibility

At first I thought this might be the perfect solution, but I quickly found out that beyond having to pay to unlock the majority of the useful elements for building rooms, you then have to pay extra per render!Add to that the fact that the kitchen unit elements were completely inflexible, so you couldn't build the style of kitchen you wanted, with the type of units you wanted (i.e. certain units were only available in a fixed style, and not all units available in all styles).Clearly a lot of hard work has gone into developing this but the owner/developers don't appear to have actually ever sat with a user to see how/what they would want to do with it, or get their feedback on hidden costs.
