I find the app to be very unreliable. Sometimes in the middle of the night it will have turned itself off and so I can’t hear my son crying. Currently it’s displaying an error when I try to accept the new privacy policy and so I can’t use it. The time at the bottom is frustrating to scroll through and almost impossible to land on the time you wish for, and using the fast forward on back 15 second buttons doesn’t actually move the amount of seconds you have chosen. Usually you want to watch back immediately after you’ve heard a noise but you can’t. The picture and sound are really good though I turn the alerts off as it was constant.

I bought this three years ago for our firstborn. Never worked properly from the start and eventually got a replacement camera. We’re about to have our second child and there’s no way I’ll be relying on this again. I’m fairly technical and this product has driven me mad, I feel sorry for people who just wanted something plug and play as this would have caused more frustration and worry than not having a monitor at all. If you’re technically minded, My advice would be convert a proper indoor cctv camera from a reputable brand - you won’t have to worry about cloud services or security, and you’ll have more control over your video. If you’re not technical, just buy a non-WiFi based monitor. As for CuboAi, you must realise how unstable this product is. WiFi connection and video stream constantly cut out. You’ve got a decent camera, put a decent WiFi chip and processor in too. Also, enable LAN only mode so video doesn’t have to stream to your servers then back to client, causes unnecessary lag and delay . I could go on…

I hate this app. There’s so many issues (randomly cuts out, the night light constantly doesn’t respond, the picture freezes without me realising so I think baby is asleep when she is not). But now it’s not working at all!! They have updated the privacy policy which you have to immediately ‘accept’ to continue to access the app, but it just says ‘unknown error’. It’s just stuck. So I removed the app, reinstalled it, tried to log on: ‘unknown error’. FFS. Same on my husband’s app. So now we are at bedtime without a monitor.Oh and don’t trust the breathing pad either! It’s shown me ‘18 breaths per minute’ when baby is not even in the crib. One time my husband came rushing through in a panic because the video was stuck on an image of baby and said ‘no movement detected’, but she was actually out the crib in my arms. Finally the nighttime reports are often inaccurate which is a real shame because this is where cuboAI could provide a lot more useful info compared to a standard monitor. But as it is, if it’s not accurate then it’s useless.It’s a real disappointment considering how much money this monitor is, but after 9 months of using it, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I’ve always experienced issues since we got this camera for our first born (now 7months). The app is slow to use. I can be waiting for a good few moments while the picture loads, the night light to turn on etc. I’ve had issues with the app not keeping up to date. When I look back at the alerts from the perilous night, it gets stuck on a night 3 nights ago.I’ve had to delete it off my phone as it wouldn’t let me use the app until I accepted its new terms and conditions. When I go to accept it, an error message pops up, so there is no way for me to use the app.This happened while my husband was away with work and I couldn’t like our accounts again. So I’ve been without the monitor, which is incredibly hard and not good.
