Good but with big problems with busy combat encounters

Honestly, as something you can use to play RuneScape on the go for most content, this is perfectly fine. It functions well for general skilling and routine combat and most bosses that aren’t busy. However there are problems. If the area is busy, as in lots of players in combat, or just a lot of players, expect crashes. Not so fun for wildly events forcing you to pick low population worlds. Also logging into things like the portable skilling world can be …challenging. Some bosses are also almost impossible. Vorkath is just about possible but expect lag when all the mechanics fire. But for something like nakata just don’t. The aoes are more often than not invisible and the lag makes dodging more a game of prediction than reaction. Use pc for that. Also please please please make the buff bar usable on mobile. I do not need to know about my wrapping paper buff in a boss fight. I need to know if I have protection from dragonfire, or when reflect ends, or any number of important buffs. At least let us prioritise things or hide certain buffsAll in all this is great to use in combination with pc and for chill or less intense activities. But it has its limits and problems that prevent me recommending it standalone.
Recent RuneScape 3 Mobile Update Makes Logging In Annoying

EDIT:Now the RuneScape mobile client blocks the Ui on the left hand side of the screen - I can’t see (or press now) the public chat, private chat, clan chat, trade & assist - Nothing on the left side! It’s all stretched off the screen since the last update that went live on June 27th!November 18th 2022 The Log In Screen Change Update that happened on the 18th of November is horrible for us Apple users now logging in is so annoying. You used to be able to click on the log in box then the iPhones keyboard would show with your Account Name pre typed for you above the keyboard & if I typed H for example it would come up with the start of the email for that Rs account I want to log into (Auto Fill) it would then ask me to verify my identity using my Devices passcode. The same way I can go on any website & have my log in information saved so I click to log in & it will Auto Fill my email & password with my verification set up. Now it’s so annoying because not only is the log in box not flush centre in the screen so you have to scroll down when the Rs app loads up but also when you click to log in - No auto fill shows up. It all has to be done manually & for those of us with email addresses & long difficult passwords it’s a horrible experience. I also have different accounts I log on daily as well so it’s just awful now I really hope this gets changed back to how it was. It worked flawlessly before. Please change this back. I know every mobile user does not like this change.

A great game / a clunky app

The rating doesn't reflect the game as a whole, for someone who has played on and off for the last 16 years I was really excited when mobile finally came out, after seeing OSRS come out I decided to come back when RS3 came to mobilePositives:- It's much easier to progress and not be tied down to using a computer- The graphics are decent and for me there is almost no lag / fps drops- The nostalgia is still there- The overall game has so much to do you can always be doing something newNegatives:- The interface, buttons for certain elements need to be made bigger / better to suite mobile, such as bank presets, hitboxes for certain skilling methods ect... as currently I find myself misclicking a lot- Microtransactions, they don't ruin the game but the fact you can just outright buy gold with IRL money doesn't quite sit right, I get that memberships alone cannot pay for everything but possibly other ways would be better in general for the games economy, you by no means NEED to spend IRL money it's just an option- Quests, personally I find them tedious and especially on mobile just not enjoyable, most quests are NEEDED if you want to access end game areas / gear / content, it's just my personal opinion they are not mobile friendlyConclusion, you will always come back, I've had many breaks but always find myself logging back in as it's such a unique experience, but the mobile version really doesn't do it for me unless I'm mindlessly clicking a seren stone or a bit of ivy
Missing those customisable features to make certain aspects more playable/enjoyable

I love the game, I’ve dumped over 10k hours into it and was mega hyped for mobile coming out, but I can’t say my first play reactions met the same level as the hype did. From a bank standing skiller side, we could do with having the bank interfaces being customisable to the users liking - the preset keys are super tiny at the top of the screen and it’s soooo easy to load the wrong one… Make it customisable so that we can make sections smaller/larger with a reset button to go back to Jagex default if later choosing too; either that or implement a toggle option that allows us to load the last used preset when clicking the bank (similar to how the osrs mobile client has a toggle for always drop/always right click object). I’ve not tested combats on mobile and have no real need or desire to either being 200M all combat stats.
