Really brilliant app that has useful brief daily email updates on the top stories. The language used is clear and the jargon is limited - if there are technical terms then these are explained or defined very well. The app is exceptionally well designed and looks amazing. The articles etc are very insightful and well written. It would be great if the links to the definitions of terms were kept in-app so they didn’t take you to other websites (or even wikipedia!). Some terms are occasionally defined in-app but this is rare. It would also make it a much better user experience if the tab at the bottom of the screen on the daily briefing to play the audio could be minimised, particularly when you’re reading another article - it’s just a bit clunky, especially when you’re reading rather than listening.

Finimize is great. A game changer that will come in handy for newcomers. It is also good for those who wish to be kept updated, but in my personal opinion, it’s not the best source of information. This is especially true since Finimize likes to describe itself as an app that informs you of live news on the financial markets. However, it doesn’t quite exactly do that, especially when compared to other major financial news providers. When I first subscribed, I expected there to be a full daily brief that details what’s been going on around the world and in the markets for this specific day, something like “Bloomberg’s 5 Things To Know”. But instead, there are only 2-3 lengthy stories a day that don’t really highlight how the markets are being affected on that specific day. Therefore, I suggest the developers to add a “5 things to know today” section that actually come in brief, so that one could be quickly updated on the markets and the world as the sun rises. In addition to that, a link could be attached to each story leading to a new page that would describe the topic in more detail, if someone wanted to know more about it. I and many others would prefer if the daily update was much shorter in general, but also have the choice to find out more about one particular thing if I actually wanted to. I believe that then, once this feature is added, then I’d say it’s 5 Stars. Unfortunately, given how the app describes itself, the daily news section is not enough.

As a investor this app advert comes up pretty much on 90% of my social media use. So i thought let me have a go. Downloaded it, opened it and viola!! EVERY SINGLE OPTION in this app cost you money. I get that business are shifting into subscription from now on BUT every single thing in this app it's free somewhere else. All the information available here is out there on different platforms for free. Don't be a full and spend £79 on a "news app" in a world where you can find anything for free. Do your own research, download a couple of apps, set things up here and there and you are done with what you need. Shame on the developers for advertising something that you can not even read 1% of a article without signing up. Greediness to the fullest !! leading to disappointment to the fullest too. **Update** As we got a response from the app team i took my time to read at least the lasted 100 reviews here and we can clearly see that they are not taking into consideration none of the "bad reviews" in which that alone shows me a lot what this business is about. Sir/Madame? If you really wanna build a business that isn't a scam or an temporarily thing just so you can get rich and move into the next one, you will have to start listening & acknowledge the bad that you are doing too, and not just the good. If you genuinely believe in this app you have to start listening otherwise you just prove my point. But hey, if you have an amazing community and don't need to restructure your business model then you don't need me, my friends and none of the people with bad reviews as your customers, in that case: I wish you all the best 👍🏼

Excellent app for finance news and education

Daily news stories are divided into channels (markets, crypto, and a couple of deeper dives). They’re different to their stories in the Finimize email newsletter, so you can get even more content here. But the style is exactly the same: simple to understand, interesting content and usually entertaining to read too.As well as the reviews of actual ways to invest, the app recently started producing “packs” that introduce you to various aspects of investing. Some of these I skimmed through, as I already understand things like interest rates, but I learned something new with a couple of them. For a while it was frustrating as the app made it difficult to read the whole guide at once (and I’d forget to come back and read more the next day), but they’ve fixed that now.Overall great app - something new every day!
