I admit that I occasionally watch F1 and that’s about it. I wouldn’t class myself as a huge motorsport fan at all and that’s why I was a bit hesitant about buying this game at first but I’m glad I did. The game is just perfectly made that you can play it casually and don’t focus too much into the details or you can focus on every aspect of the race and that’s what I love about this game. I bought this game whilst on a family vacation as I wanted a meaty game that I can get into and get something out of and this offers that. I played the first motor sport and thought it was a bit repetitive after a few seasons but this one offers so much that I find myself spoilt for choice. I know that it isn’t the cheapest of games but I’ve never been so happy with a purchase I’ve made. The tutorials are done in such a simple and clean way that you can understand it. I find this game can be played on the go or you can fully sit down and enjoy the game! The only problem I have encountered is the game to crash straight after one of the invitational races (I finished first as well! ) but apart from that the game runs really smoothly. This is the first time I’ve ever felt like making a review since it is so much fun! Lastly I would love a way that you can change the look of my racing teams lettering ( or maybe I haven’t found it yet ) but I see some of them having different colours and fonts and mine is a basic white so being able to change that would be a nice feature.
The way iOS games should be made

This is the only review I have ever written for a game on iOS, but just had to add my two cents here. With so much mindless pay-to-win trash on the App Store it’s easy to feel like games on iOS aren’t really worth paying attention to. It’s a real shame, because it could be an extremely convenient and versatile gaming platform. This game proves that point. It respects your money and your time, it provides a great amount of depth without ever becoming too complex for a mobile platform, and it is perfect for extended gaming sessions or a quick race on your commute. It has great visuals and a well-executed sense of humor. The only thing I might knock it for are the optional micro-transactions which seem to buy power in the game directly, though they are not necessary to succeed. I would have liked to see some sort of paid DLC model implemented instead, but I understand those probably don’t monetize well enough in niche titles like this. For what it’s worth I am not typically a Motorsport fan or a hugely into sporting simulations, but this game strikes a great balance. Many thanks to the devs for their effort.
Great game but has some blaring problems that hurt the longevity of play throughs
Dude of games
Very detailed and my most played game on my phone. Far from perfect however. The main problems are that if your drivers start 1-2 almost everytime the one running in second will spin 2/3 of the way round the track on lap 1 and this happens consistently in this manner. Another problem is that your drivers get overtaken under safety car. My driver is often running in first place (the game is too easy even on the hardest settings) and on 75% of safety cars the car in second overtakes the car in first and if you’re very unlucky you can have both of your drivers overtaken multiple times under safety car which can drop you to the middle of the grid. Never seen this happen to the A.I drivers though so it seems very scripted. Also there is an editor which is good for making real life drivers and teams but one thing I have noticed is when name the real teams and do a season, the team that came last (10th) returns to the default name and then becomes the best team on the grid next season and at the same time performance becomes very linear, so much so that I have had races finish exactly in order of how good the teams are. I can predict perfectly which team will reset next season, the season after and so on and so forth. The game other than that is very well made although I wish they kept the old way of getting a setup in qualifying through trial and error and testing setups instead of a gambling game that it is now.
Such an awesome game

This is my first ever game review, which pretty much sums up why this is such an awesome game. I played the first version which was free and really enjoyed it - didn’t even mind that there were ads - but after reading some of the reviews for this game, I thought that it was worth the purchase and worth investing in a game developer that’s got a proven track record.Firstly, the depth to this game is insane, there’s literally so much to do. I’ve played through about 7 seasons in a week and still going strong. The key to a good mobile game is to engage the player for a longer period of time, but with most other games you’re either put off by ads or you’re basically prevented from advancing without waiting half your life to complete a task. For the sake of £5, which is like one pint, you could save yourself about £50 by not going out and just playing this game. It’s literally that good and I’m not even really a fan of motorsport.
