Concept of this app is good, but after 1 day of persevering, it takes an age to push messages through. May as well just stick to the notifications only via WhatsApp directly to know when you need to grab your phone.Far to fiddly in my opinion, and particularly the time it takes for messages to automatically come through even on the fastest WiFi, but worth a go if you want to just use your watch for messages. Maybe it’ll work better on your device. I am using IPhone SE2020 but an old series 1 watch.

After a lot of issues it’s now working fine. The developers have always tried to listen and fix any issues. So it’s now working as expected Also noticed that actual WhatsApp message come through faster than the this app. Sometimes it doesn’t come through it’s quicker to open the WhatsApp on my phone.Over all it’s good and can be even better if they can sort out sending voice message.

This app has potential but still lots of work needed. Load time is still slow and sluggish. I’m also seeing the same profile picture for several contacts. I also never receive notifications from the app so there is no quick view on the watch. By the time I have launched the app on my watch abs waited for the chats to load, I might as well have got my phone out.

Doesn’t notify your watch directly - you still get notifications from the original WhatsApp but that won’t allow you to read the message!So to use the watch interface you have to find the app on the phone and then it takes minutes to load the data from the phone to the watch which is just much more hassle than reading the message on your phone via the proper WhatsApp app. It may be that my phone is a bit too old but the watch is new so I wouldn’t recommend this watchOS app.
