Yoga Go team have offered so much encouragement over the months. I will definitely enrol when my sessions start again in April as these chair yoga classes work like a crank handle on an old, tired and worn ‘engine’. I’m 88 yrs and sufferer of cardiovascular and kidney disease along with osteoporosis throughout my body ( the latter being the result of breast cancer and subsequent hormone treatment for 5 years’ of post operative therapy. Five years’ later, following a heart attack, I had a triple by pass operation. I love life and continue to work alone on my acre garden, woodland, pond and surrounding beech hedges. It can be a struggle and painful at times, but chair yoga has been my greatest prop and inspiration to keep mobile and optimistic in mood. My dear husband, Tom, is in the advanced stage of Alzheimer’s dementure : sectioned five years’ ago and being cared for in a lovely EMI Care Home where I can visit any time, even though he no longer recognises me - after 70 years’ - bless him.Yoga go THANKYOU . Pauline.

Sharky Pricing Policy
WrefordReed
Like many other reviewers, I got stung by this app’s auto-renewal policy. They bombard you with ultra-cheap e-mail offers for initial discounts (97%) to try the first week or month, and then auto-renew at a vastly inflated rate. They then claim the automated renewal is for our own convenience, and should have read the small print on the T&Cs, etc. It’s a shame as I actually quite liked the app itself. It has a great user interface - I was doing the chair yoga - clearly setting out sequences of daily exercises, which are clear and easy to follow; and I did feel better/less stiff/more flexible for doing them. Hence I give it 2 stars overall (4 stars for the app itself, and -2 stars for the charging model). But overall I feel the app is over-priced for what it offers relative to other apps, particularly when they trick customers into the auto-renewal,- which is why I cancelled my subscription at the first available opportunity, having been charged £60-something for 3 months renewal after the first week’ trial (which is pretty much what they offer a full year discounted subscription for). The Cyprus HQ feels like a deliberate attempt to side-step UK consumer law obligations. I would advise you to be very cautious indeed about accepting trial offers. If you do, try the app for a day or two and then cancel, before choosing the subscription model you actually want - otherwise you will get very high renewal charges.

Absolute scam

Nothing personalised about the workouts, just generic yoga workouts that expect previous knowledge of yoga stances and a level of flexibility and fitness that contradict the information provided for the personalised plan. To elaborate, after signing up as a ‘flabby, 45+ yo, total yoga novice, sedantry exercise levels, and pretty much all the lowest levels of fitness selectable’ my first workout (without tutorial or instructions) expects me to be able to bend my upper body down against my legs, or hold a figure 4 leg stance on one leg. This is not only false advertising but also negligent and could easily lead to injuries. The site is very clear on a non-refund policy however this contravenes uk law that has an automatic 14 day cooling off period for any purchase. Another example of disreputable business practices. Anyone who works for this company should know they are the lowest form of opportunistic scum. No better than con men. Update due to developer feedback… this company make customers sign terms and conditions that revoke their right to a refund BEFORE they provide the goods. This should send send alarm bells ringing to anyone. It’s also not legally enforcable… terms and conditions cannot be used to override basic statutory rights, this violates the principle of a ‘fair’ contract and when this company suggests otherwise (which they will do) it’s fraudulent

A great tool on my journey of re-discovery
Yogi-Chi
This app has enabled me to take the first of many steps to my future me. Due to long term health conditions and medications to deal with those conditions, I am quite overweight. I am on a programme to improve my physical situation. As an ex long distance swimmer, I did have some flexibility. The seated yoga has allowed me to become more flexible and body aware while improving existing flexibility. Some positions I find more challenging than others but I make an effort to do them to the best of my ability. I follow these daily 20-30 min sessions with the Thai chi sessions which help improve my breathing and movement. This is also challenging considering my weight but I make a good effort and see improvement since I first started about two months ago. I will some day soon advance beyond the beginner stage but want to get as comfortable and used to the movements before moving on.
