Early days for me but having used this app for just a short time I have found its interface very easy to use and the amount of information you can see for free is fantastic. There are to many “free” apps out there that then need you to pay a subscription to use anything more than the basic functions, not so with Campy. You can pay for the extras if you like (and I might actually) but the free parts of the app are full of free information and very useable. If your a camper of any type, give it a go……it’s free 😃

A very real European resource

Having used in the distant past the encyclopaedic Camping and caravan club guide to sites in Europe - and realising this no longer was available set me searching for an alternative. I came across Campy and signed up, pre a 3 week holiday in France. It was an invaluable resource throughout the trip. Reviews, locations, directions and maps were all used and meant a level of anxiety about finding a site was alleviated. Great App!

Wouldn’t be without this app, wouldn’t have managed without it. Brings all the campsites up in your chosen area and all the information you need. Has a link to use your phone for directions. Would recommend.

Very useful app. My only complaint would be that the campsites are not regularly updating their details, hence we found some closed and prices had been hiked. It was impossible to call ahead, as we know no Italian, and struggled with the language barrier being English. We toured the west coast of Italy, where it was very useful.
Every spot on Campy stays trustworthy because campers keep it that way. This update gives you a quicker way to flag something that doesn't match what you found, straight from the location.
