Loving the game but I’ve had a few puzzles now that clearly show that you can’t win them in differing ways. I had a puzzle where I had two rooks, both able to take a knight, that if taken, would expose the king and result in me winning the puzzle as it was pinned to the side of the board. Well it shouldn’t have mattered which rook took the knight to cause checkmate as my king was in a position which didn’t allow their king to move, but it said one of the rook moves was wrong, even though both of them 100% lead to a checkmate. It’s just annoying when you make moves that are 100% going to win you the game, and you lose a life anyway because it wasn’t the intended way to win.

Unacceptable data sharing with onerous requirements

This app starts by asking for consent to share your personal data, however the dialog it presents has been designed by a third party to make it extremely onerous to enforce your rights.The data sharing networks think they have a legitimate interest to share your data whether you consent or not, normally on sites like Freecycle you can object to this with a single choice but with this app you would need to slide a choice for around 400 vendors who are in the business of sharing your data.This is onerous and unreasonable, already one has to decline many options. These networks need to understand that like all other form of consent NO MEANS NO. This developer has many choices of what data privacy consent tool to use. I quit any website that uses the one used in this app and I intend to delete this app for this reason. Nobody has a legitimate interest in MY DATA if I don’t consent.

I would say this is the best app, as it is free, there is no pressure to do any in app purchases and you still get you use the services with no disruptions. Being able to play with all sorts of different people from around the world and look back at the victories and mistakes you’ve made with ease. The app is easy to use and friendly also; hence my title… the best app in regards to chess!

A great game, matches with people seamlessly easy and straight forward. Only downside as with majority of games these days is its constant adverts in your face unless you pay a subscription which I did as I was really enjoying the game (£35 for the year) to avoid constant adverts, but even then it’s still the odd 99p for this pot and watch this video and get ‘x’ amount of whatever they’re offering. I wish there was a way I could just open the app and play without the constant pop ups. I’ve given 3 stars, if it wasn’t for the constant pop ups it would be 5 stars easily.
