I like the app because it has a lot of different options for different furniture tastes like colours shape and most of all it lasts long not for like 1 year but for maybe 10 years its a very good company and im happy that they made an app because ikea is very far away from me and we dont have a car so i like that you can ship stuff to ur house because my uncle has a car but sometimes they are busy or dont have space in there car so i like that it 1. Lasts long 2. Can be in good for many years and 3. You can ship it to your house so i would definitely consider this app to someone but i just have 1 thing i dont like is that sometimes the furniture is very expensive but that’s ok because i found a desk for 19£ that i will ask my mom or someone to buy also i have a bookshelf from ikea and its still standing for about 7? years know and i love it because i have a lot of books im not sure what its called but i think its discontinued. But anyways i would definitely recommend

Pick and collect service is a brilliant idea however the choice of collection date and how to pick it should be made clearer at the first order point prior to payment as we did not realise you had to click on it to book a time it just came back with a next day collection time, when I phoned customer service to ask if they could keep my order for an extra day as we couldn’t get to the store the date and time they had given me I was told if the goods were not picked up at the time given they would be put back into the store and a refund would be given to me in the next 14 days. The lady advised me to go online again reorder and pay again for the goods I wanted the following day and click on their 24 hour time slot for next morning pick up, which I have done. The problem is I am out of pocket until they refund my full amount and the staff have had to waste their time picking and replacing my goods instead of being able to put a label on them for collection 24 hours later than originally specified and waste more staff effort and time in re picking my second order and the account department has had to waste time refunding me then taking further payment for my second order all because they couldn’t put a label on my chosen goods for an alternative pick up date and time which is such a shame for everyone and this could easily be improved. Thank you

Admittedly this isn’t going to impact too many people….we were furnishing a place from scratch and had many items to buy. The shopping cart appeared to list things randomly. I suspect its not actually random but lord only knows what the process is. Once the basket was filled with a large number of items finding the one you wanted involved scrolling down the whole lot until you saw it. Why not put them in some relevant sort of order? Or sort by room so people can see that they have everything they need for the bedroom etc rather than having to write everything down on a scrap of paper?You could not say you wanted 2 beds…you had to order a bed then find the item in the basket (scrolling through everything) then alter the number. Same for towels, cups and everything else. Scroll scroll scroll. To remove items you had to click the three dots beside the item but that usually took you to the item listing unless you hit it just right. This was deeply frustrating. I was screaming at the app after I had done this a few times. Make the link bigger for heavens sake. I use the largest iPad available but still had issues hitting the thing correctly. Why don’t the beds show the right bedding for the bed? Or a duvet show the right cover? And then there is that little lag when you delete something that stops you doing anything else. Nothing you can do about that I guess but cumulatively it was a miserable experience.

I always loved IKEA and their design, their staff, their furniture and decor, and their catalogues. But this app is just a nightmare. Who was an idiot or team of idiots who designed it? I want an app to be as simple as possible so I wouldn’t need to spend hours in attempt to find some item I’m interested in. Why should I always use search or type names of products? Thanks god I remember some by heart but some I don’t remember, so I just want to make few clicks and find it. Instead I have to scroll and scroll in some sort of endless labyrinth of items I don’t need at all. Make it easier please like your site used to be: 1)Furniture 2)Decor 3)Textile 4)Garden and so forth, don’t lump all and sundry products in one big pile. And I want more pictures about a product. Not to mention IKEA’s current design: in the last 5 years literally everything in IKEA is GREY, all shades of grey as if it’s some prison and we’re all inmates in it. Grey furniture, grey textile, grey kitchens, grey decor, grey garden, grey dishes, grey home appliances, everything is depressingly grey, minimalistic, ugly, expensive and of third rate quality. Where’s colourful, optimistic and easy IKEA we all used to love? These new changes make people like me to look for furniture and decor elsewhere as I don’t want to use this inconvenient badly designed app or go to your pessimistic shop anymore. Great shame because it used to be one of the best.
