Amendment of previous review - So I’ve found this app completely motivational. Managed to get to almost a 60 day streak when it randomly glitched and didn’t give me a rest day when it should have. Since then I’ve sadly found it’s had the opposite affect on me, and I feel completed despondent and demotivated. Can’t entirely blame the app for this - clearly it’s the way my brain is wired, too, that’s impacted me. However it has left me feeling I’ve got to start from scratch. It’s a pity the developers don’t have a way of inputting the rest day for you, when something like this happens. So here’s a suggestion to the developers. How about removing 2 rest days a week that it applies for you. What about saying that for each calendar MONTH, you’re allowed, say, 6 or 7 rest days. That way for people like me who accidentally missed a few steps, it doesn’t negatively impact streaks and force you to start over again (albeit in this case, a glitch affected mine sadly). It also means that if you’re ill with a tummy bug that hits you for a few days, and you simply can’t walk as you’d want to, it doesn’t negatively impact the streak? Only a thought for potential consideration?Otherwise I would highly recommend this app. I just need to find my motivation to start from scratch again now 😅

So far so good
bite the apple
I’ve only used this a few weeks. I do Monday through to Friday so 5 out of the 7 days in week. I’ve had major joint replacement surgery for 3 joints. So moving about has been challenging. I’ve looked at other fit apps and they involve a lot more movement so having done very little I dealt they were too hard as starting off from zero! Evan lifting my leg up more than 2” is hard. However doing these 8 to 10 minutes exercises so far although hard I feel good in my self. I’m moving a little bit more so over time as they increase I hope to regain my strength back along with mobility. We all have to start somewhere and although 8/19 mins may not seem much to some they are a lot for me. I used to be a mad fitness fan doing several hours so to be were I am today is a real set back. But with this app fingers crossed plus the bonus price reduction was a good help too thank you

Hi! I’m so glad to hear that WalkFit has been a good starting point for you on your journey to regain strength and mobility. Recovering from major joint replacement surgery is no small feat, and it’s inspiring to see you taking steps forward, no matter how small they may seem. Every bit of movement counts, and your progress will add up over time. Keep going at your own pace—you're doing great! An exercise class in your pocket!
I’m not too old for this!
I enjoy being able to do a regular exercise session at home that fits in whenever I have the opportunity. I usually just do it first thing in the morning and choose an appropriate session to fit the time I have and the other planned activities for the day. Starting out from the very start when I hadn’t exercised for ages, I found the explanations and demonstrations of the exercises fairly clear, and the gentle progression was great, realising just how easily you had made progress in your fitness. However the advertising of 7 minutes a day and only 3000 steps is misleading and a bit unkind after you have paid to find out that the exercises lengthened up to 20+ minutes and the steps for the day quickly become 9,000+. Also originally I could pick any of the exercise sessions from each ability level easily. However recently I can only do a very clunky search through routines I have previously done and it’s difficult to work out what level and length each one is. I feel that is a fault now. Occasionally for whatever reason I have missed for 6 weeks and then want to come back at an easier level but can’t work out which is right.

Hello! Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you found the advertising misleading and the search functionality clunky. It's great to know that you're enjoying your exercise sessions and that the progression has been helpful for you. I understand how frustrating it can be when things change, especially when you're trying to find the right level after a break. If you need any assistance or have more questions, feel free to reach out to me at kate.support@walk-fit.io. – Kate, WalkFit
Needs improvement

Nice app at first glance. The steps from the workouts take forever to update and add to your daily count, if at all. There is no breakdown of what is steps from your workouts and just walking other than going into the workouts and adding them up and taking away from your total. Would be useful to build up a workout plan so you don’t have to stop and search for what to do next. I like the easy workouts for me as I have poor mobility and this helps to keep me motivated with a daily goal. I like the get fit with Becky and Japanese walking. Some popular music choices for the dance workouts would be nice and if they were tailored to keep in tune with the music and have an even number of reps per section. I’ll keep using this with the hope more development and polishing is in the pipeline.Edit- I was doing a 28 day challenge and it reset on the first day of the month wiping out all my progress. Also it did not count all my workouts for the day meaning I missed my target. Starting to get annoyed with the app now, please make some improvements soon.
