When my Government job means they can't get it together to have Microsoft Office working on my laptop or desktop, I have WPS. Loving it and much prefer the way your work opens in one app - excel spreadsheets, powerpoint presentations, word documents and pdf's. No more flitting between programmes to look at your work - all in one taab. And no space taken up on my machine - everythingin the cloud for easy access whatever equipment I use. Absolutely loving it!

Gone back to this after the recent App Update and done a 180 on it. All my previous issues have been resolved.OK, for English GB, I had to go to Tools and download it. Discovered that the Normal Template is in a hidden (Dot Folder) in the Lbrary and easier to directly edit it from there. Whereas in MS Office, it can be done from the App's Toolbar.Apart from those two very minor criticisms, I'm really liking this now.========Original ReviewI'm in two minds with this. I can see the attraction for someone coming from MS Office and in some ways, I like it. But for my main use, there are too many issues.Spell Check is not helpful. Spelling tries to be American regarless of trying to set it to UK (There is an English World outside of America. It's called The UK). Spent 2 hours adding UK word spelling, but then it accepts American wrong spelling in UK documents. No Colour Fonts display just like MS Office doesn't either (Apple Pages, OpenOffice and LibreOffice handle Colour Fonts nicely). As a volunteer, I produce a lot of notice board flyers for a Health Service and use Colour Fonts a lot. In Dark Mode, the various types of Drop Shadow do not show up properly in the selection panel and you have to guess which one you want.For some reason, Apple's own Pages, on everyone's Mac, seems to get overlooked. Although leaning towards being DTP and it's great at it, Pages reliably Imports any MS Docx sent to me and Exports (Export, not Save As) to Docx just fine.For me, Apple Pages, LibreOffice Vanilla (App Store) and the Legacy styled OpenOffice.****UpdateSince adding UK english words ,WPS now tries to tell me I'm Australian. The Dictionary in WPS is hopeless to be honest.Now gone back to MS Office 365. Works perfectly and to my surprise, 365 now supports Colour Fonts.

I used WPS premium for many years as it does absolutely everything in terms of storing and creating documents that I use. Its actually cheaper thean buying a 365 licence and I suspect is ore secure. Only gripe is sometimes it takes a while to upload new docs or download existing ones... but to compensate for that it does havesoem interseting apps embedded in the main app such as conversion of one type of document format to photo and vice versa and also is much better than 365 at PDFs that are sent for completion and signing - I like it

This is extremely irritating and hs happened every time I open the app on my laptop - also the ads block everything.On the mobile app - the copy/paste dialogue box also blocks everything and you can't select text because the menu is in the way
