For use with a TCL Google Tv it hardly ever connects anymore to use it as a remote control. Very frustrating!

While the unit is performing good the smarts are not that smart what do I mean? I’m in the UK and Purchased a P12F3SW1K that has wifi, I’ve been hearing that it can connect to tuya so thought awesome I can add it to Home Assistant with that app or at least when the device comes on the network that Home Assistant would see it think again TCL must be using there proprietary software as no Zigbee RTS matter wifi or Zigbee that could connect to the unit.Wish TCL would losses the boot straps and give us an integration through Home Assistant which is open source, lots of your customers are crying out for this integration and a lot of people buying other products because it can’t integrate I wish I knew before that TCL Portable AC is locked down and unable to be assessed in Home Assistant I would have gone with another manufacturer.For all those wanting Home Assistant support/integrationThis is not the product for you.

Took 3 attempts for me to realise that the when the app says it’s sent a verification email, it’s actually redirecting you to a captcha. The app needs to make this clear. Otherwise we go to our email, find no email, and give u a 1 star review.Oh, if you are using captcha in a mobile app it’s cos you need to learn about trusted apps and app authentication. Basic laravel passport stuff. Oh, and once i’ve registered, dont make me log in. Should remember my credentials from my signup. Its despicable that shoddy programmers like this are given jobs !!!! Go clean toilets, something more your skillset.

I was really didn’t think the app would be useful based on the comments but thought I’d give in the benefit of the doubt. It works perfectly with my freestanding AC wirelessly. Mode, temperature, the speed and on/off.
