You can play this game how you want - just find the alliance that feels like home. The puzzles and challenges are plenty so you can enjoy this as a solitary player. Or you can embrace the conquest aspect - other players are so willing to share skills. And the chat with different people from so many countries has been the real bonus for me.

This game has a lot of potential. It's fun to play and it has all the objectives set out to understand. But the game name needs to be changed, because the game is about kingdom and royalty but it's called "puzzles and Conquest" which is an irrelevant name. The shops and offers needs to have it's own little tab, the prices however are completely over the top, it looks fake and untrustworthy and overpriced; some have main price as £100+ but discounted to very cheap, which makes no sense. I do see myself playing this over the years, but it can definitely be improved.

I've played this game for several years - on and off. But I always keep returning to it. The game itself is fun with plenty of activities and it is generous, making it possible to do a no pay game quite easily.

They seem to have taken all the crappy bits I didn’t like in the original, added a few more bits and made it more into another one of those bish-bash-bosh castle building alliance games.The game really pushes you to spend real money but you just don’t get what you really need and it is still a money-pit.Advice is to give it a try but do not spend real money on it for at least a week and preferably a month. A game where you have to spend real money on it to just progress in the game is bad and strategically created to fleece you.There are better games out there and they do tease you to spend time and money playing but you should make sure any spending from you is for extra things and goodies and that the game does not become too stressful to play.
