Ok, so I don't really understand 90% of the menu options, basically I treat "getting to the actual race part" as a game all in itself, just mash buttons, and make sure not to charge actual money to your iTunes account (lol), and get to the race! What I'm trying to say is, I would prefer if the menu system was a lot more minimalist and straightforward, but perhaps it needs to be this way to encourage people to buy the odd upgrade and stuff. But as a very - VERY seldom occasional player, the only cost I associate with the game is my disk space and I find it highly acceptable as a game to drop into every now and again. I don't drive IRL so I enjoy the extremely arcadey nature, Who wants realism? I do spend more time on SSX Tricky via the Dolphin emulator, but this is my second most diddled-with game on my Mac.

I, like most people, do not write reviews for games frequently. For this game however, I had to write a review.I cant believe that this game is free! The graphic quality of this game is outstanding and there has not been a single bit of lag It looks and feels like a game that you would of paid about £20 on. I cannot stop playing it. One thing though, I am very used to the controls of the game but it would be nice if you could be able to change the button contols. Thanks!

This game has really good visuals and graphics, and everything fits in perfectly in the UI, it's like the graphics are way better for its price (free). The thing i like most is that it isn't like the prequal, Asphalt 8: Airborne since that game is full of costs on everything, what I'm trying to say is that it is F2P (Free to play).However, I think there should be new fetures like setting your own suspension, like in Real Racing 3, you can do that. Another feature i think you should add is viewing other people's bodykits and making your own. The third feature i think you should add, is making your own tune and adding other tunes, weight reduction, engine spacers, and more.I really hope that one of the developers sees this and add those features in for the game. Thanks for reading!

The new controls are, frankly, crap, making the gameplay much less engaging than Asphalt 8. I will be deleting A9 and sticking with A8 for the timebeing. Shame that Gameloft seem to have lost their way a bit with the Asphalt franchise. While the graphics are noticeably better in A9, it is: (a) just not as easy to play with the new controller set up (God knows why they changed this!); and (b) less fun to play and — disappointingly often — just plain frustrating. I never found myself rage-quitting A8 as much as this. Will be deleting A9 from my M1 MacBook Pro, as it simply does not justify the drive space it takes up. Please, Gameloft, go back to A8 and just update the graphics. Stop messing with the gameplay and ESPECIALLY stop remapping the controls! In summary: disappointing... and one to avoid. But I do recommend Asphalt 8!
