The app has 2 modes: Free and Pro. The Free mode covers most of the functionality, incl. equalizer and volume booster. The Pro has a 20-hour trial period and is for one non-recurring fee.

With the player, you can play, amplify and equalize any of these audio formats: mp3, mp4, wav, m4a, ,aac, adts, ac3, aif, aifc, caf, snd or au.
In the system-wide mode, the app can process audio coming from any app. Additional free audio driver is needed in that mode:

Great system, but wished it worked with headphones

This is by far one of the better sound apps for the Mac, absolutely incredible performance overall. I can change from spoken word, to hip-hop, to rock and then a movie and they all sound excellent! I only wish that it worked with headphones. For some reason when I plug in my headset it keeps playing on the mac instead. I have to go into settings to change it back to the regular macbook sound settings for headphones and then back again when I take them off. Other than than, great system!

Tested the app has a few glitches to iron out1. needs to connect easier to already installed software2. needs easier access buttons to change ambient soundwaves.3. I approved this app on the bases of sound quality and access variation that keeps up with fast animation and sound crafting, studio quality on sound only, however access and stability are in question as in concert or gig setting one has no time to alter any upset caused by difficult access to changing perameters of different musical genres.overall a useful addition to easy listenong but no where near good enough yet for studio/concert usage. I approve this app for personal use but not for professional live seesions as yet, maybe after a few fixes but not yet. Grat app but"Needs work".

I love this app and my Macs have it enabled constantly . Great for tweaking the headphone output to a flavour that suits you , the 3D reverb set at a couple of percent adds some real ambiance to a dull track . The only negatives are that it’s too small , I wish I could have a floating window of it and/or a zoom for the app . N.B ! Set the volume output to 25% or 50% max before you plug in your headphones , the volume boost is just stupid loud and can hurt your ears . It really is a great app though .

I’m old “skool” and nothing irks me more than a subscription… so I too wanted a little more sound than default Mac settings and ‘Music Equaliser’...I’ve only been using this on two tracks and already I’ve paid - this app should come with Mac… for the money I can see only win-win… out-standing Pavel.
