- You can only withdraw money from your Transaction Account or Raisin Bank Account to your nominated bank or building society account.
- Messages and documents sent and received securely through your account are encrypted.
- Only you can authorise transactions by entering the mobile verification code we send to you by SMS.
- Your information is protected from unauthorised access through firewalls and 2048-bit PGP data encryption, as well as multi-stage identification and encryption systems.
Generally they offer competitive rates however be warned that the app is confusing and not intuitive. They give directions which don’t apply to the app as they’re referring to their online account. Also they hold onto funds for 3 working days when making transfers. If you open a new account and fund it from another of their accounts your funds will disappear for a day or 2 from the account and show £0 which is very disconcerting.

Unerving when you start, as when you hand over your money, NOTHING! no email or any kind of acknowledgment.definately a leap of faith. be nice if it said that SOMEWHERE! you just hold your breath! for me it was 4+days then it magically popped up on my dashboard. so far investments mature on time, pay out promptly. But the wording surrounding automatic renewal scares me so i avoid those ones, reading product info is important, i keep stashing 1 or 2k every 6 months or so, then forget about it and its always a very handy surprise , if i dont need it, I lock it up again but it's untouchable which i like as i cant be coerced by a whim!

Time and again Raisin has had market leading offers in its choice. Being able to use several banks under the one umbrella is really useful. As well as good rates, all deposits protected. My only gripe is: if you need your money fast, it’s a 2 to 3 day wait to get if from an account, to raisin, to your current account. Money managed carefully then this is not an issue.Good choice of easy access and a range of differing lengths of fixed savers. Happy with it.

I have 8 savings bonds through the platform, which would normally mean 8 lots of bothersome applications. Great interest rates and I can see all my accounts with one log in. The negative reviews on here seem to be from people who have not read the short and clear terms on the site. It is made clear setting up a new account and the time between an account maturing or a withdrawal from an account may take up to four days.
