This is a great game. It’s in its second version so don’t expect it to have no problems. A lot of the planes from the trailers and adverts on the App Store are actually for planes that are “coming soon”. Gold is also hard to save up so I would like a button that allows you to swap gold for silver. There should also be a global option, so that you can dogfight any where in the world like in Extreme Landings or RFS. There should also be tanks defending the targets for domination. Also in Domination where did all the AA towers go? Now I only see flak guns and blockhouses. I would ask that blockhouses do as much damage as flak guns. There should also be an option where you can remove the names of planes for a challenge so you can identify their smoke or their outline. I have been playing this for around a month now and I really enjoy it but there is one more problem….you should also be able to make your own camouflage like RFS. That is all I have to say about this great dogfighting game!

Components of aircraft - engines, agility, armour, weaponry and bombs/ missiles can be made increasingly more powerful and effective- requiring gold, silver, parts and tokens. These can be earned in playing the game… by earning gold or paying for it, these assets can be bought and allocated. Over the past year, developers have tinkered with this methodology making it increasingly more difficult to develop individual aircraft to full level. This is exacerbated by the fact that with over 50 different aircraft, and with aircraft parts being allocated randomly, the player isn’t in a position to develop specific, individual, aircraft. Also, developers have increased the ‘cost’ to attain each asset, slowing the growth process down. Some interesting aircraft chosen by developers- some of which never saw front-line service in WW2.

Has potential, but currently broken

This game definitely has potential to be rewarding and enjoyable. However, it takes forever to progress without spending money (even as a 'good' player, i.e coming first in terms of damage/kills in most battles). What's frustrating is losing trophies for a defeat, despite achieving the highest score of anyone on either team... you get rewarded more for scoring 1 damage on the winning team, than 5k damage on the losing side. Blueprints, needed to unlock new aircraft, are awarded pretty randomly and give you no way to reliably target aircraft you wish to use. Without spending money (which I am not going to do) I'm essentially stuck with tier 2 aircraft which are less than half upgraded, trying my best to hold my own against superior aircraft in every battle. Fortunately most of these opponents are flown by people with no real skill who have thrown their wallet at the game, which I suppose makes things slightly easier
