Even a hardened cynic would find benefit

I struggle to find anything wrong with this app - it’s aesthetically beautiful, comprehensive, personalised, educational, entertaining. And like my title suggests, even if you don’t believe that the solar system has any impact on you whatsoever, this is astrology done in such a way that it becomes akin to a therapy programme from which you can analyse every area of your life and if nothing else, become aware. Awareness is so important if you want any kind of autonomy or change in your life. CHANI encourages kindness, inclusivity, rest, but also action, self belief, and fun. I look forward to the readings and the daily check ins/meditations. It’s become such a vital tool in my self care routine thank you so much for helping me to deepen my relationship with myself, my spiritual practices and my awareness of the cosmos 🪐🌖

Perhaps my only suggestion to improve is an option to adjust your timezone so that the celestial events are tailored even more specifically to you. I feel like this would be an easy fix so I’m not having to add 7h to everything in my head whenever CHANI is talking about transits etc.

I love Chani

For about 7 years now, she’s been whispering to me my dark little secrets in the kindest way, helping me learn to love and accept myself the way I am, and have faith and motivation that Im always transforming into a higher version of myself. From the mailing list back in the day I remember feeling so seen, and so supported through some very tumultuous times. Astrology has always been important to me, but Chani translated it into a ‘real-world’ and spectacularly relatable support system that Ive felt strengthened by time and time again. The price is steep for me, as a freelance nomadic artist trying to find my place in the world, but its worth it because I really feel like I have access to a friend/mentor figure whenever I need it. Sometimes when im busy I forget its there for a few weeks, other times the meditations help me get to sleep or get out of a headfunk or feels like having a comforting pep talk from your favourite aunty. Plus its beautiful. Forever grateful for the wisdom over the years, thank you Chani

Brilliant

I love this app and listen to the readings every week . I think the price is a bit high though, as we are all going through very challenging times and women especially really need this ,they really do.I think that if you just added the information on the birth chart so we could check that info over we could gain better understanding when playing the weekly reading in the free version and that would help. Please work on it being a little cheaper so we can have the full CHANI experience . You will definitely get more followers of the app . I recommended it all the time but the same thing keeps coming back the price. This app is outstanding when I tried the full subscription but has to go back to the free version to cut costs. It’s fresh , funky and I love the no nonsense way with a lot of humour and personality exudes from the whole way it is designed and the sublime readings are excellent. Keep on keeping up.

Hi there, thank you so much for your feedback. We completely understand the frustration - most apps are free and $11.99 seems pretty steep in comparison. To give you some context for where we are coming from … (1) We are not VC funded which means we actually have to use the profits from the app to cover the cost of making the app. That’s great for you because it means we will never ever sell your data but it also means we can’t give everything away for free. (2) We also believe in paying everyone who shares their labor with us a thriving wage. Every smidgeon of content that you see on the app is created by our mostly QTBIPOC team. We are committed to not just hiring QTBIPOC folks but paying them well and charging $11.99 per user per month is what it costs us to do that. I hope that helps.



All of that said, as the app grows, we are working on building in a sliding scale model so that we can have the best of both worlds - a thriving team and an accessible app that doesn’t rely on selling data.
