The Pattern 17+

I love this app it has taught me a lot about myself that I need to work on.
The negative points are that although it asks for your birth time it’s more generalised with maybe one or two sentences that are different to others in your sun sign. I know of three others with my sun sign who’s charts are identical to the letter.

Also I have a lot of Scorpio in my chart and instead of that being balanced with whatever sign and house, it’s written exactly the same as my two scorpion friends. I’ve also noticed that some of the points for a period will show up later in a friends chart word for word.

You need to read between the likes, remember to balance things with your sun sign and whichever part of the chart is being read. It’s either Libran- scorpion - pices etc etc. Rather than specifically to the time of birth.

Having said that it’s still a great app and really helps understand relationships.

Improvements to get 5* would be for it to be less general.

For it to have family bonds too.
Maybe a great option could be to check out an exes that you’re still in love with? Being more inclusive long term relationships who’ve split. All these things would affect the way you’d view their profile. So romantic would equal together but friendship doesn’t really fit with a broken say, eg 15yr relationship that you both want to learn about how you could improve things to try again. This would fit such a large demographic.

The accuracy of this app is almost scary!
One who truly takes time to reflect and is self aware can feel like the writers of this app have been spying on them their entire lives! - this has been the experience for me and my closest friends who I managed to lure in by giving them a screen shot of the custom profile I made of them.... they were so intrigued by the accuracy of their reading that they have now all joined the app and we are all committed to learning and understanding each other on a deeper level, whilst also understanding ourselves.

A Great self reflective tool which uses astrology, and I would love to find a numerology app that is also this accessible and accurate!! - accessible as in easy to use - the app is very simple and easy to navigate through. - no ads either- and as for the accuracy of the articles/patterns- the writers are quite skilled at articulating the pros and cons of our patterns/habits without making us feel negative or bad about ourselves or choices in life! A great skill in encouraging the self reflection process for those who struggle to acknowledge the darker attributes of their personalities...- love the app and have recommended to everyone I know who are dedicated to their own personal growth and development..... thank you Patterns Team!!!!

I used to love the app years ago. It seemed authentic and genuine and there were no huge paywalls restricting content.

Now, patterns have become numerous with more and more popping up all the time. They’re incredibly negatively worded, but to read deeper you have to pay an extortionate subscription fee. When you look up the transit other apps and websites do not match with the tone of the prediction…There is a lot of talk of security break downs, break ups, struggles etc. All frightening but not really accurate. If you check your friends patterns against your own, the accuracy and relatability of this app has gone. Now it’s just giving doom in the hopes of getting your money.

The ethics of adding a dating element to an app that constantly tries to feed you relationships fears is concerning too. It was great in 2019 when the app was easier to use, far less negative and not hidden behind a huge subscription. In my humble opinion, it’s lost it’s usefulness and fallen into a ‘pattern’ of its own - feeding the anxiety of its users to get them to subscribe to all of the features it is trying to pull them in with.
