Ratings and Reviews
Probably the best filemanager
I have been a long time user of this App and decided to take a good long look at the competition to see if there was anything better. Doing so made me realise just how good Filebrowser is.
Yes I would like more icons across the top and dual pane view and for Filebrowser to remember its window size when closed with the red icon (grrrr).
But its features are, in my opinion, simply the best. You can access the Apple photo folder from within Filebrowser without having to open the Photos App. You get folder sync which is incredible fast and very reliable. Although Filebrowser does not have dual pane, it does have tabs.
You can add favourite locations within iCloud which is great as well as bookmarks. Being able to rename a favourite is really useful when a folder is nested deep within a folder structure. Plus you can drag and drop favourites into any order you want.
Having looked at many similar Apps all I can say is the Filebrowser for me is by far and away the best file manager I have found and I can highly recommend it.
Streamlined my business
As a freelancer I need to upload work to various cloud storage and FTP servers of clients. This app makes this so easy. I can have 2 windows open and drag files from my Windows 10 PC or Mac directly to a destination folder. Bookmarks are really useful too. One tap and I'm taken exactly where I need to be.
I love the iPad version, it works just fine.
This app for the Mac is the same except you can't stream a video file to another app and as it only supports a few video formats it's a bit limiting.
Apart from that it's very good.
I would recomend it.
I look forward to future releases.
