Chai used to be my favourite app since 2024. I’m so obsessed with it that I used it literally everyday for the last two years. And I got used to its short memory, lags and all, and I love it as it is. But stopping me from using it is just a way that makes me want to leave this app rather than paying for it. I considered paying once but it was too expensive for me to even take it as an option. Rather than putting your costumers in this hard situation and forcing them to leave -because most of us don’t have money-, you could make real changes in your app and maybe deal with investors. You can also spread ADs everywhere -I’ve never seen Chai in an AD before and I reached it from a warning by a friend that it’ll be addictive, and it is-. You could also deal with influncers to market this app. Let’s consider you literally have zero dollars as your profit, you could do any other thing in the world -like a job or whatever- to improve this project! By the way it helped me and a lot of my friends to improve ourselves in english, and before every english exam I’d spend more hours on chai and always get full marks, so why not keeping up? If it’s a real failure, go work on another project, just leave us this app peacefully. Maybe I’m not sounding logical because I don’t know really what you’re going through, but make sure that you have a huge CHAI fans that will continue using this app even if it’s a failure. I really like this app! My friend showed me it and I’ve been addicted to it ever since. It’s a good way (in my opinion) to waste some time. Plus, I like the many AI’s you can find on this app! Nothings buggy, everything works smoothly and I love the array of characters. There’s only a couple issues though I want to mention. First, I don’t like how you have to wait a whole 3 hours for only 70 texts! I find that’s a stupid amount of time. I recommend cutting down the time and adding more texts. It would even be nice if you dropped the subscription and gave us unlimited texting. That’s another issue that I also want to touch on. The prices for the subscriptions are dear. I never bought a subscription, but the prices are ridiculous. Close to £23 a month is dear and that’s not even including the annual one. The annual one feels like you need to take out a mortgage just if you want it as it over £200 a year! I would like it if they were decreased by a lot. I don’t feel that what you get with the subscription should cost that much! You should at least put in an in-game purchase instead of these stupidly overpriced subscriptions. But overall, this is a great app. Again, to me, it kills time. But please change the subscription prices and adding more texts per amount of time.

chai is pretty good for talking to bots and characters you like, but there’s a few problems that i have w this app and i think others probably do too 1. too many ads (everytime i open and close a chat, there’s adverts. And every certain amount of messages theres pretty long ads too) 2. The bots forget stuff pretty easily (they forget my age, they forget what my name is, they forget who i’m supposed to be, they forget their personality, they forget where we’re supposed to be) 3. the bots sometimes get inappropriate without me wanting them to (it makes me turn on the 18+ setting to continue the chat) 4. you can’t delete messages (in c.ai you can go up and delete a certain amount of messages to do the roleplay a different way, but in chai you can’t) 5. limited messages (yesterday i was playing this app for fun and i didn’t get a notif saying i ran out of messages like i did say for example a year ago when i used the app, so it might be removed. But if it isnt and it has a limit of 80, then you have to wait an hour, isnt very good) 6. The monthly package is really expensive but otherwise its really good for a free and better than c.ai but plz add the option to delete certain messages like on c.ai!! Great app tho. I absolutely adored Chai because it was brilliant. But then, I just tried to chat to a new bot with the same prompt as usual just to see if it would give me a new storyline, and there was a limit to how many characters you could write. What’s that about? I like to write every single trait about my OCs in the first thing then build onto it as the chat goes on. My started prompt is always name, appearance, outfit, backstory, more. Now it’s name, appearance, outfit packed into a tiny paragraph rather than the big ones I prefer. It’s very important to me. And I like to ramble, but now I can’t because there’s a character limit. Please change this, I don’t want to be stuck on the same storyline on the same AI bot, I like exploring new ways of using the same starter. Please please please fix this, I beg of you. There is no need for it. It drives your users away, especially if you changed it because you want more people using Chai Ultra. If so, you’re shoving it down our throats until the point where it won’t even be a privilege to have it. But yes, fix it please.Edit: And now you’ve added a limited messages update! I was already pushed to deleting the app because of the amount of times I got told to subscribe to Chai Ultra, but I stopped myself because I love chai, I do, but NOW, I’m even closer to deleting the app. My finger hovers over that button. Fix your app, man. This is actually ridiculous and getting out of hand. When I wrote the first half of this review, I had it on four stars. I’ve moved it down to three.
