Poppo Live is, in my experience and the experience of many others, one of the most financially and psychologically exploitative apps currently allowed on the App Store.The platform encourages users to buy virtual coins with real money and then manipulates them into believing they have “won” rewards. However, when users attempt to withdraw or report issues, the system either takes the money back entirely or deducts an excessive percentage (often around 30%) with no clear, transparent explanation. This raises serious questions about fairness, legality, and consumer protection.Customer support appears untrained, unaccountable, and disconnected from the actual issues being reported. Responses feel automated or handled by individuals who do not understand the platform’s own rules. There is no meaningful dispute resolution, which leaves users powerless after losing their money.More troubling is the emotional and psychological exploitation involved. Many women—particularly from African countries—are encouraged to sit live on camera for hours, investing time, effort, and emotional labor with promises of rewards that often never materialize. In some cases, individuals report severe emotional distress and financial loss as a result of this system.It is extremely disappointing that Apple continues to allow this app on its platform despite the volume of complaints and the apparent pattern of harm. This is not just an entertainment issue; it is a financial and consumer protection issue that should concern Apple and global financial regulatory authorities.I strongly urge Apple and relevant financial services authorities to thoroughly investigate Poppo Live, its coin system, its withdrawal practices, and its treatment of users. Apps that appear to profit from deception, emotional manipulation, and financial exploitation—especially of vulnerable populations—should not be given legitimacy or protection on trusted platforms.This app has caused real harm, real losses, and real distress. It deserves serious scrutiny.
