I’ve used Queue religiously since 2023 and I love everything about it. It has a beautiful UI with some really fab features, like the badges and spin wheel. It has *almost* everything I watch, so I can keep a nice track of my visual media, although there have been some smaller scale productions I’ve not been able to log. I think it’s a great app with a strong USP and I’ve even had my friends and family use it too.The founder, Garrett, is also absolutely lovely and super committed to giving users the best experience possible. I recently bought a new phone and no matter what I did, I couldn’t log in, so I emailed customer service to try and resolve the issue and it was sorted very promptly. Garrett was friendly, and replied usually within minutes of my emails. I didn’t know I was speaking to the founder until I asked if they had a feedback form for their customer service as I was really impressed, and that was when he told me they didn’t have those in place as of yet, so I’m leaving a glowing review here instead.

I love this app like LOVE this app, I talk about it all the time. It’s truly a good app with negatives hard to find. The only negative I have found is that when you search an actor, not all their movies and shows are on their profile. Also, though not a negative, it would be helpful to be able to search for our collections and add multiple to the saved lists at a time. Though I still do love this app and will continue to recommend it to people

It does not seem to record when I’m swiping at different times what I have said I have not seen, so I will do a session of swipes saying I have not seen things, a couple hours later if I do more it will suggest the same 50 films and series again. Seems like it just doesn’t have a complex enough algorithm to suggest shows and films by category based on what you have said you have already seen. For example I keep being shown films in the swipe part that I would never want to watch and sometimes the same suggestions will come up in one swiping session. It needs to remember when I say I’ve not seen something and not suggest it everytime I use the app for a good amount of time and learn based on what you say you have seen to suggest similar things you may be interested in.There is a heap of other things that need work but this one is the main reason I downloaded the app with my wife to find things to watch instead of doomscrolling.Other than that it’s a great idea, just not entirely useable yet for the best features…

Love the slick design and the ability to track progress within series. The spinner function is a lot of fun but I’d love to see the ability to use the spinner on saved lists I’ve made so I don’t have to spend ages selecting titles from my main list before spinning.I’d also like to see something like a private mode? I know a lot of people are into the social aspect, but there’s no setting to change if you do just want to use the app for you. I haven’t followed or interacted with anyone in any way (because I don’t want to) but I still get frequent notifications like “(Random person) has queued (some film on my list) because of you” and that just feels like the app is spreading my activity around to people I don’t know, and trying to force me towards a functionality I don’t want to use. Other than that it really is a good watchlist app with a lot of great functions. With a few tweaks I’d be giving it 5 stars all day long.
