Alhamdulillah, I found this app through my sister, when I noticed her prayer time widget looked really pretty. I then downloaded the app for myself thinking it was just another prayer time app, but more aesthetically pleasing. However I was pleasantly surprised to find out there were no ads and it was very easy to navigate through. But my favourite thing about this app is the objective of and how clearly you can see it throughout the app; the main purpose is to simply help other fellow brothers and sisters with their prayer, without benefiting off it or giving any reason to be put off (e.g constant ads, etc). I don’t usually write reviews, but I truly wish the best for this app and appreciate the time and effort put into it. Encouraging and helping young muslims, like myself, to be consistent with their prayer. May Allah swt reward everyone who helped with this app generously and lead you onto grater things. Ameen. In’sha’allah many more muslims are able to find this app.

I used to use Muslim Pro, but after finding out they were selling data to the US government, I found Pillars, and it’s SO good. It’s very simple and easy to use (it’s great for older people in that respect), and it has NO ADS, which is a huge win. The app also has a widget, which is great because I can simply open my phone and see what time the next prayer is without having to actually open the app. I also love their new feature which allows you to track your prayers throughout the day - for people who are just learning and beginning to pray, this is a great feature to us. The only critique I have is that sometimes the qibla compass glitches. I’ve noticed that sometimes it will change the location of the qibla even when I’m in the same place. Please fix this :/Other than that, I love the app and can’t wait to see what the developers will do with it :)

The Quran recitation feature is beautifully presented, and the translations and tafsir (commentary) are insightful. The daily Hadith and Islamic articles offer a convenient way to deepen my understanding of the faith.The app's interface is clean and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. I particularly appreciate the customizable features, allowing me to personalize my experience.Overall, Pillar is a well-designed and feature-rich app that serves as an excellent companion for any Muslim seeking to strengthen their connection with their faith. Assalamalaykum,I love this app and I have been using it for almost 2 years now since i reverted. It has both motivated me and reminded me to pray on time, everyday, 5 times a day. Alhamdullilah. I realised on the first page, after sunrise, there is a countdown to dhuhr with notice that during this time one can/should pray Duha prayer. This made me think of a few ideas that could motivate people like me to pray duha as well as tahajjud and witr and other optional but very recommended prayers. Here is the idea:Just like one can tick off the prayers they did during the day or missed. There could be an optional prayers section or added on the 5 daily prayers (maybe faded so one knows they r optional) so one could tick those off too when they do them. And similarly to how a little congratulations emoji pops up when all 5 prayers are ticked off for the day, one could earn digital medals or trophies or streaks for performing tahajjud 100 times or duha for 7 days in a row etc… Of course this app should not become a game and intention for prayer should always be to get closer to Allah rather than earn rewards on the app. However, if done simply and cleverly I believe this idea could motivate muslims and reverts like myself to perform those recommended but not fard prayers more regularly.
