Whilst playing “my fantasy” by the same developers, I was offered 400 rubies for reading 5 chapters of a book in Passion. Done that, and had no choice but to sign up for the free trial. Didn’t want to download the app, and there was no subscription in my Apple account. A week later I’m charged almost £50, and after a few emails with customer support, I was told I can’t have a refund as “personal and financial reasons” don’t qualify, even though I was given little choice and no option to cancel the subscription. So I downloaded the app, signed in, no subscription. Logged out, and when I logged back in had a message “duplicate account” so emailed back, only to be told the refund policy (again) so I replied repeating that I can’t log in, and again get a reply with the refund policy. Finally managed to sign in, subscription updated, and there’s 1000 coins great. Although in the shop, £50 (which I spent) can get you 5000 coins. So I paid £10 for 1000, and £40 for no ads and extra login bonus?! Seriously?! Customer service said they’d give me 80% permanent discount if I rejoin, but what about that £40 I’m spending for basically nothing?! Just ridiculous. And there are people who spend more on top of that subscription! If someone is paying £50 a month regularly, surely they should at least have enough coins to read a book or two, or just free reading!!! So now I have to read continuously just to get my money’s worth! And will I be able to reread them for free regardless of subscription?! I highly doubt it!!!
