I’m writing this in the hope someone with more experience with this kind of thing can help! I can’t understand why you have the choice to only animate all the photos or none? The problem I’m having is that some photos seem to be jumping at the end of their ‘appearance’ before it goes to the next photo when the animation setting is on. If I turn this setting off, it doesn’t happen. Is there a way to stop them sort of disappearing and appearing again for a second? Or jumping? When the animation is on. I don’t know how to explain it but would be grateful for any help? Apart from that, great app, thank you.

Has potential but not worth it right now

The app has potential as it’s fairly straightforward to use, but there are a couple of UX bits that hold it back:1 - When you’re trying to trim videos it’s quite difficult. Holding the video down has several different functions and trying to work out how to adjust it VS move it’s place is not easy2 - when adding in music, if you want a particular part in a song it’s near on impossible to trim it to this part. I had to add extra videos then trim it all down from there - nightmare.3 - last but certainly not least, when I save the video in the highest quality the background music is affected and goes robotic like, making the video unusable. This last point is very bad considering it’s a chargeable app, please improve this if you’re going to charge people.

Please note you can trim your clip duration by moving the white border that appears at the beginning and at the end of the clip. Also, you should cut the song on the sides by moving the grey bars, then move the part of the song you want during that time of the clip by keeping it selected and sliding it to the left/right. Have tried the main competitors. This is the one. The workflow is incredibly easy. They have really thought about it and tested it. The transitions are brilliant. It’s solid, fast… have not tested yet in an offline mode. One thing missing is the ability to fade audio tracks out, or AFAIK, manually slide or zoom stills about… some presets here would be awesome, as manual Ken burns probably too fiddly on a phone. And not sure why it has to jump back to the beginning all the time. A loop select like Logic Pro would be very useful. That would get it the full 5 stars…oh, and it’s a subscription model. Why not offer a buy outright option?
