Secrets - Password Manager
Generator & Authenticator
Free · In-App Purchases
Secrets is an app for storing all of your passwords and anything else you want to keep … secret!
There are lots of things in our daily lives that we don’t want other people to know like credit card details, bank details, and of course, passwords. Secrets can protect all of those things and more in an app that’s easy to use but still secured by strong encryption and advanced sync technology.
Because we think that your secrets should be yours and yours alone, your passwords and information are never synced with our servers. If you choose to sync your information between devices it will be encrypted and securely saved in iCloud. Secrets uses strong 256-bit encryption and locks your information behind biometric (Face ID or Touch ID) and alphanumeric (a strong and unique passphrase) protection.
Despite that, Secrets is full of features that you’re going to love using and will make using your passwords and other information a breeze.
FEATURES INCLUDE:
• Store all of your passwords, passkeys, credit cards, bank details, and other information so that it’s always there when you need it.
• Create reate new, secure, and private passwords for new apps and services. No more trying to come up with a unique password yourself.
• Generate one-time passcodes for apps and services that offer two-factor authentication.
• Get all of your passwords and information into Secrets with ease — import from 1Password, LastPass, and other popular services or import using a CSV file.
• Take your passwords with you. Secrets supports iCloud syncing so your information is always available and up-to-date.
• Access your passwords when you need them — Secrets for iPhone and iPad securely integrates with browsers on Windows and Linux so your passwords are never more than a few taps away.
• Use password AutoFill to quickly enter usernames and passwords on your Apple devices.
PRIVATE AND SECURE
We don't have access to your information, including usernames and passwords. Not even in encrypted form!
Synced information doesn’t use our servers and nothing leaves your device or iCloud (when syncing is enabled).
Information is stored using modern cryptographic algorithms and 256-bit encryption.
Use Touch ID or Face ID to unlock Secrets or set up a strong passphrase — or both! You can even use your Apple Watch to unlock Secrets on the Mac.
Automatic locking ensures that Secrets keeps all of your information locked away even if your phone/computer is stolen.
PRICING
Secrets is a free download and there are one-time in-app purchases available to unlock additional features.
• Create, edit, delete, and import items after a 7-day free trial.
• Unlock shared vaults so you can invite someone else to access your saved items.
• A bundle that includes both in-app purchases for a single payment.
Alternatively, Secrets is also available as a monthly or yearly subscription.
Wether you opt for a one-time purchase or a subscription, it will be valid on all platforms: iOS, iPadOS and macOS.

more I have multiple Macs and the sync process for Secrets is just way too slow. I have to restart the App to get it all up to date and that makes Keychain a much better option. I've tried to love it, but it requires work, both from the developer and the user.

This software has really changed the way I thnk about online passwords and security. The password generator is great, you key in the length and what types of characters you want it built with (and keeps a record of the old ones). You can have muiltiple passwords / PINs / One Time Auth Codes, Passkeys, notes, add files and even tag all of the "Secrets" to group them easier. There are a few other "Secrets" conveniently looks after. The wallet is good for keeping bank cards / accounts / PIN numbers (which is much better in an encripted app than scrawled on the back off an envelope in the car!). The Software Licence area is also great - houses what you've paid for, how much and when, version number and licence keys (or licence files), support emails etc. Recently started using the encripted notes part of Secrets too - a handy place to keep Personal Details like Passport or Drivers Licence numbers (in case my physical wallet was ever to be lost or stolen), Tax Returns, Car Registration Details etc.It looks to be a "Password Manager", but really looks after so much more. I think the name "Secrets" has unfortunetly held this great software back, as it is snowed down in the App Store with so many other similar named (mostly games), and it is a shame to see it not have the visibility as lots of other Password Manager Apps. The competitors all seem to charge a Subscription, which I expect gives them a bigger advertising budget, but I would recommend "Secrets" to many more people as it is a one-time payment, with sync over the Secure Vault part of iCloud.I've found the iCloud sync to sometimes be a bit on the slow side (it is not instantanious which I suspect some of the other options may be), but if you leave it to just do its thing, it works great.I'd recommend looking at some of the YouYube Tips videos for this software (again, it is a bit tricky to find as the name "Secrets" brings up so many other options) but it showcases some really great tips that make using the software so much better. An exssential piece of software for me now. Excellent.

Been using this app for a few years now and it’s just very straight forward to use. Does what you want without superfluous fluff or fuss, it links up to your iPhone too which is massively helpful and the interface looks better than Apple’s Passwords
