I am absolutely amazed with this absolutely incredible app!!! I am learning so fast because the AI tutors are so efficient. I would never be able to pay for a human English tutor because it costs a lot of money and on top of that is just one lesson per week with. Praktika I am able to study every day any time of the day! The whole team is so dedicated and we can see updates almost every single day making our learning experience much more pleasurable and efficient. I am more than happy with the app and I am strongly recommending it to everybody that wants to learn a new language in the comfort of your home. Praktika is much more than just a language app, it is also a personal self improvement because the AI tutors give us so many great ideas to apply in our lives!!! I am forever grateful for the team to have created such a wonder because Praktika is transforming people’s life. 🫶❤️🙏✨😊😍

I’ll start off by saying I genuinely am loving this app. I am currently a few days into the free trial and I am enjoying every minute. I can talk about anything I like, even niche things and the AI tutor is familiar with it all and is able to respond and make comments on everything. In comparison to other AI using language apps, this one understands me currently 95% of the time too. Most other apps completely mishear me and think I have said something completely different. You can ask it any question about how to say something too and it will give you the answer. It genuinely feels like having a real teacher available 24/7 to answer any of your questions. It is also very good for me as I have speaking anxiety. Whenever I took real lessons in the past, I was always too scared to speak in front of the class because I was too embarrassed to make a mistake but I don’t care if I make a mistake only in front of the AI tutor. This is the most I’ve spoken in Japanese in my life and I used to live in Japan. This will really help me to gain confidence with speaking so that I can eventually feel comfortable speaking to real people.However my only issues are that the kanji is not appropriate for the level. In the past I have learned up to N3 equivalent but I chose A1 purely because I haven’t used the language or sturdier in a couple of years and I had forgotten a lot but even with A1, some of the kanji I have never even seen before. It is way too complicated for a beginner and needs to be reduced to only the really common kanji with mostly kana. I can’t play one of the games because it is full with unfamiliar kanji. It would also be nice to add a kanji-specific game so that we can actually learn some more or even add an option in the settings to use only kana or to even select the kanji that you do know and only the ones you select will appear. That would be really useful.My other issue is the price. As much as I think it is great, I just think it is too expensive for an app. It’s definitely worth paying for in general but I don’t have enough time to spend using it every single day and I can’t justify spending that much money on something I’ll only use a couple of times a week. Perhaps if the price is reduced a little in future, I will consider a yearly subscription.

I enjoy using this app to learn French. However, there are lots of glitches which make it a frustrating experience at times. Firstly, the AI Tutor can randomly leap up several levels of expected learning and speak fluent French at you and get you to use lots of words in sentences you’ve never seen before or know what they mean. Then in your next lesson, it goes back to basic French you e already learned?! Secondly, when you repeat back the words it can completely mishear you and come up with something you never said. Thirdly, just recently, all the practice tools and games have just disappeared??? There used to be a Blue and White game, a brick wall vocabulary builder game and an owl game to practice reading French. Now I only have the Free Talk practice tool? I have put in several reports, but had no responses which is disappointing as I’m paying for this App!

Not sure about this. It’s obviously a friendly AI trying to help you learn another language and for whatever reason the human in me feels bad leaving a less than glowing review (weird). But, I feel like the app is attempting to be conversational and friendly, which might be true if you already know how to speak the desired language..If not I did find there was a bit too much foreign language conversation between attempts at replies and answers. (Which was confusing when trying to focus on remembering the phrase or word I was working on). Also the app was buggy in that the text spaces started becoming “&ndsp” after a foreign language word. (Again confusing) and in my case with Skye using French. The pronunciation of isolated words sounded obscure and frankly weird! I signed up for £35 for 3 months and I hope to be able to cancel my subscription as I don’t believe this app is ready for a paid release at the current time. (Sorry)
