I downloaded VEED to add subtitles to a bunch of short video clips and works really well! You choose a video file from your phone, select the language and it adds captions automatically in a few seconds - a real time saver! I also like that you can change the format and video size from the presets. HIghly recommended - and it's free!
Way too expensive

Works good, which is why I give it more than 1 star. Yet, the price is absolutely unacceptable. The monthly cost is too high and what the app does is something that should be given to users for a one time fee only. Even if that fee was 10 times larger than one monthly, the fact that you buy it to have it forever is worth it. But this? This isn’t worth it.Tips for readers: there are apps out there that do this for free. This is how unimpressive of a task it all is. Don’t get tied into a subscription model, do your research and find the better options.

Super cool app, I love how I can just caption and even translate my videos both whether I record in app using the video maker or upload. I like all the different styles and fonts and love how you can then see how your video will look on Insta vs TikTok etc. super helpful!!

Not a 5 but great app

Although it’s not 100% accurate at sometimes. It stays on a word on the screen until someone speaks, I upload videos with captions but it doesn’t do it right some times. Doesn’t capture what everyone is saying. Also when I’m trying to aline it up better with who’s speaking it messes the whole video up which ends me restating it all again. Although apart from that. It happened rarely, but it’s a great app. More better then the ones they charge you a subscription which is just ridiculous. I don’t care about the watermark. With magic it always can be erased…. But other apps charge you to just download the video. I like this one because it’s simple.
