Ok it would only be fair that I change my first review because of the great customer service I got. So I was one of those who lost their data due to the upgrade to iOS 26, which meant the Fudget 1 app wouldn’t open anymore. I was quite frustrated as I had a lot of budgets, not only for myself but also for my family. I have loved using Fudget for many many years and it’s such an easy app to use. So imagine my horror when the app suddenly wouldn’t open. I wrote to customer service and they came back to me straight away with a solution. Luckily I hadn’t deleted the Fudget 1 app yet so the data was still on my phone, I just had to retrieve it. I got an explanation as to what had happened and why they were unable to warn me. Got a really thorough guide how to retrieve my lost data and how to get it into Fudget 2. Now I have all my data back and can start using Fudget 2 which has better safety guards so that this wouldn’t happen again. Amazing Customer service!

Very happy this is available and a big step up from the original. It still has the simplicity needed for finance planning without all the other stuff similar apps bolt on along the flexibility to build it around how you want to manage it all. But it also has some new features I didn’t I now wanted like the centralised stars section and date columns. The UX touches make it an all round nice to use app.Also, I had no idea there was a new version out! I have been using the original app for year's now and it was losing its way the last few months as new iOS updates have been coming out and I started looking for alternatives. Which there aren't many of surprisingly! I just assumed it was no longer being supported. So I'm very happy to find this. You should get some in-app promoting going on in v1 for others like me who may not have heard about this.

I have tried multiple apps for budgeting, and they’re either very invasive (as in I am required to link it to my bank) or they’re ridiculously priced (irony). Since I have found this app, from the first edition to the most recent edition, I have had no issues at all, and as I have been using it for maybe 2 years now (I don’t know the exact date) I can say it has definetly helped with budgeting and planning months in advance for the year. The only app I’d use. Also any issues I have customer service/ the developer always responds very promptly and ads always happy to help no matter how small the question. I have used this app pretty much every day for the past 2 years, I love it!

I’ve used Fudget for years and relied on it for multiple budgets and countless financial transactions. After upgrading to the latest version of iOS, I suddenly lost access to the original app (fudget 1)—and with it, all my data.I reached out to Danny, and despite never expecting a miracle, he went above and beyond. He personally helped recover the data from my iPhone and successfully imported everything into the latest version of Fudget. Absolutely outstanding support.I almost never leave app reviews, but this deserves one. A brilliant, no-nonsense budgeting app backed by genuinely exceptional customer service. A great app and a great guy. Highly, highly recommended.
