This app is designed to be a universal voice translator for all languages.
It’s especially helpful for learning new languages or communicating while traveling abroad. For example, if you’re visiting China, the app can translate your speech into Mandarin and speak it aloud, making conversations effortless.
To use it, simply press the microphone button on the left to speak in your language. When you're done, press it again to stop. Then, tap the button on the right to let the other person respond in their language. It's that simple—intuitive and easy for anyone to use.It can support the voice of all languages that iOS support since it use local text to voice of the device.Network is required for any translation. However the voice support is built in the application.

I thought this would be a handy app but the voices (once you get past English, French, German and Spanish) are really poor, robotic quality, and it needs the internet to work which I didn't know about and as I pay for my internet usage I was getting charged without knowing it :(I definately would not recommend this to anyone.
Good but not good enough

Within 10 minutes of downloading this app I knew that I wouldn't use it much. Firstly the app doesn't recognise all words correctly even when spoken slowly and clearly and secondly the translation isn't always correct which is a bit of a show stopper. If stuck in a country where you don't speak any of the language it may be useful to say what you want and then get the app to do the speech and it would probably be sufficient to make yourself understood.
A very useful app

This is a very good app, I find it useful to play the spoken translation and then read from the text. I think that what some people are expecting is for the spoken bit to be comprehensible to someone else which is a bit hit and miss even with a dedicated machine. One bug is in the spoken french where the accents in the words are spoken out, so just ignore them.

Absolutely useless on voice word recognition , speed, volume and voice change buttons don't work, other than that, yes, absolutely useless. How do I get my money back Apple?
