This app is great if you want to make friends or even try become a top streamer however it does need some major improvements especially when it comes to safety... anyone can download the site this can even include people who have committed crimes this is stated in their privacy policy but who reads the small print ... the app also unfortunately has a lot of horny people wanting to show their ‘no no’ which is sad because they have tried to tackle the issue... but If you do ignore the no no dms it’s a pretty cool app even if you use it once or twice every now and then out of boredom you get to know some really cool people of all age groups you can find people of all types meaning the app can be therapeutic but also dangerous like any site you come across some nasty people luckily they have a block so if you can get past all the silly people and have a strong mind the apps overall 4starts I think

This App is just messy and confusing in so many ways. Firstly the App seems to be obsessed with making sure you’re a real person and that your photos are appropriate as they need to ‘review’ each one you upload to your profile, I had a photo rejected 3 times because it was apparently a ‘group photo’ when it was clearly just me in the photo, this could be forgiven as it’s good they are taking security and safety seriously but that’s when you realise over Half the profiles on there are fake or bots. Next the directive and purpose of this app is confusing it seems to be a free for all, it makes you fill out details as if it where a dating app and you where looking for a date, yet it lets people use it as some form of social media App? Or for making friends, furthermore it lets you fill out special details about yourself yet you don’t get to customise which profiles you wish to see, say if you only wanted to see profiles in a certain radius or under a certain age. People can ‘stream’ on there much like Instagram and become more popular making it pretty much impossible to match or message with them all these features just make it way too confusing and it doesn’t work as not everyone is using the app for the same thing or a similar purpose if get a match or a message I don’t know how to start a conversation as I have no idea why they are on the app. The App signs you out every time you leave, then it automatically signs you back in when you open it however half the time it just says ‘loading’ and nothing happens forcing you to sign in yourself, lastly the App runs really badly and my iPhone isn’t exactly ‘old’ I find sometimes there’s a 2 second delay from when I click something, the app also looks dodgy and poorly designed.

This app was good until just a couple of weeks ago. You used to match with 5 people then get an ad but you could click away and continue and go on like that with an ad every 5 swipes. Now though, my god. You swipe through 10 people and you get an UNSKIPPABLE ad that lasts a minimum of 1 minute. You can swipe through 10 people in 10 seconds then you’re frozen in an ad for over a minute. I say over a minute because the ads have a bar at the bottom of the screen that fills but instead of ending when the bar fills, it brings up another page trying to force you to install the game it’s advertising. Not only that but I moderate in a lot of streams and recently the ads are very invasive and intrusive. You will be trying to moderate a stream then get an ad that mutes the stream and goes full screen on your device meaning you are completely unable to do your job and keep chat safe. After using skout for a long time I’ve found myself using it less and less since these greedy ads have started popping up. A lot of my friends are already recommending other apps to take the place of skout so it looks like skout is on the way out

Hi everyone, I have read everyone's review and I agreed with everyone's experience. I have been on Skout for less than a month and I have met a lot of people who claimed that they live in the states but currently they are out of the country for a certain reasons. Many of them are saying that they are in "USA Army" "working on a contract in Malaysia, Africa, UK or Germany" "they are in some kind of oil business" or "they do buy and trade art work". They all have a same story line. They are all widowers and lost their wives in a "car crash" or "auto crash" or "some type of cancer" and their kids are also died in a "car crash", or their mom and dad are all passed so they are all alone. If you ask what's their name, they will write you a love letter. If you ask where are they from, they will write you a love poem. It made me feel like that they didn't really read what I typed. Instead, all their replies are like a copied and pasted message. They like to pressure you to accept their feelings toward you, they like to propose to you, they will force you to start a relationship with them right away and said that the distance is not a problem for them and they are willing to travel around the world to find their love. It's so unrealistic and it's like a TV drama. Everyone will tell you, "they're hardly come online so let's chat from Yahoo Messenger or Kik or Viber or Skype or Facebook". If I tell them that I don't use any of those then they will encourage me to open an account with them and they are free or install those apps in my phone. Some tells you that "let's talk privately" or "this site is full of scammers so let's talk in other form of chat". Some even asked for my real/full name and my home/work address so they can send me flowers and chocolate.
