I have been using Vivino since its early days. I have always found it useful and reliable for getting ratings, reviews and tasting notes on a broad range of wines. I have used it for buying wines in a variety of shops and also ordering very good wines through Vivino App - which has been reliable.It has been very good for extending my knowledge of wines and finding out more about wines I drink - as well as finding out about the countries and regions wines come from, with lots of useful information about grape varieties, tasting notes and wine quality.It is a very useful tool and appreciated. I definitely recommend using this App. The quality of wines we buy and drink (which suit us) has improved immensely since having the help of using a Vivino scan on most wines before we buy now (using 4 or above as a guide in a price range of £7-£30 generally).
Disappointing three strikes

Three times I have tried to order wines over £1500 and the order cancels and the only way to put in again is to individually place the whole order again. Three times in a row and takes an hour of filling in. Emailed the first time pleasant answer and extended the 10% off for me. It still didn’t work so tried today spend hours looking for the same wines and several were out of stock. It is so frustrating poor show Vinino I was so impressed before this and have spent over 10k on your wines so it’s not like I don’t know how to order. DisappointedNow I’ve had a reply from Maryam seems pleasant. I replied with the information she was asking for but I got an email telling me it was wrong email and to redirect my email. I replied to her!!! I have tried all the other Vivino emails but no answer just no reply email please redirect your email. So it’s a good company when nothing goes wrong. I can’t order as when I say pay a message on the screen says something went wrong. Please please can you contact me Vivino

Vivino is really useful. I usually Vivino ( it’s become a verb) a bottle I’ve grabbed from my cellar so that I can check the price before enjoying it. The information they give you is useful. But of course they are in it to make money which is fair enough but sometimes you find yourself buying wine from them that doesn’t match the purple prose of their reviews which of course aren’t independent but designed to sell. They once sent me some Macon that was different to the one I had ordered which was quite hard to get. It wasn’t worth sending back because what they sent was perfectly fine, just not what I’d ordered. I asked them why but they didn’t bother replying. They basically give you a very good ap so they can sell you wine, most of which is good value abd well targeted to what I like.
