This app just falls short of being the perfect metronome app for a few reasons that I hope could be addressed in the future. 1) 14 seems an arbitrary maximum number of bars/beats, and I’m having to use workarounds to practice complex forms. 2) There’s no option of a different sound to mark beat one

As others have said this app is really great but there are a few simple things that could take it to the next level. In my view these things are:1. Option to mute specific subdivisions/beats the way a whole bar can be muted. 2. Option to assign different sounds to each subdivision/beat3. Option to make certain subdivision/beat unaffected by the random mute feature. 4. Higher quality sounds and more sound options would be nice.

I’m a piano teacher and gigging musician and I’ve used this for years, it’s one of my favourite apps.Functionally, it’s perfect. Aesthetically, I do think it would benefit from a modern visual redesign to reach a wider audience as the app could easily appeal to millions of musicians.Also, I would reduce the number of quirky but less useful metronome sounds and set the default to something nice like woodblock two.Thank you to the developers for their outstanding work, I’m incredibly grateful.
