A modern, IRCv3-native IRC client for iPhone and iPad — bouncer-aware, reconnects itself, and syncs across your Apple devices.
Mango is a modern IRC client for iPhone and iPad — clean, fast, and built to feel like a native part of iOS instead of a port.
WHAT YOU GET
• Every network side by side, each with its own channels, member list, and server log
• Full IRCv3: SASL, server-time, message-tags, account/away-notify, batch, chathistory, labeled-response, read markers, +draft/reply, +draft/react, +draft/typing
• Search-and-jump palette, slash commands, tab completion, mention highlighting, ignore lists, reply threads, and emoji reactions
• Themes: Mango, Rosé Pine, Moon, Dawn, Nord and more, with a visual picker and custom themes
BOUNCER-NATIVE
• soju and ZNC networks appear automatically, nested under the bouncer, and come online with it — no manual setup per network
• Manage each upstream network's server, identity, and SASL right from the app
• iCloud syncs your networks and settings across your devices
BUILT FOR ON THE GO
• Catches up via CHATHISTORY on rejoin — no missed-message gaps after a signal drop or an app suspend
• Reconnects when the network changes (Wi-Fi → cellular, VPN connect)
• Push notifications for mentions and DMs through your bouncer, even when Mango is closed
• Read markers keep the unread divider in sync with your Mac
DESIGNED FOR APPLE
• Universal app — one purchase runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac
• Native split view, the system emoji palette for reactions, and drag-and-drop file upload
• JetBrains Mono bundled, or pick your own monospace
Mango talks to any IRC network — Libera.Chat, OFTC, Ergo — and to your own soju or ZNC bouncer. No account required.

Rubbish

Save your money. They have problems with screen sizing as the app has a mind of its own expanding and contracting the window size. I can add a server as the boxes are outside of the window size. For support you have to join their IRC channel. Not a smart move, now I will have to source an IRC client that works.
Good, but lacking
TG####
This application is well-designed, offers fullscreen and offers the basic IRC functions you'd expect. Unfortunately it's still limited in aspects, such as the complete lack of menubar menus and items, no opt+backspacing allowed in the typing bar, lack of preferences (meaning no customising the IRC's text and background colours). As such, it feels more like a beta than a 2.0, so I can't say it feels as able as other apps of the same price, but then again, it's only £1.49…
Nice but needs some work
Tom Needham
Very nice UI and very easy to use but has some obvious features lacking. As another review said, there are no menu bar menus, there is no preferences pane, no styling options. There are also a couple of bugs which should have been ironed out. ie: It continues to say 'connecting to server' after even after I start chatting.Still it's a bargain at £1.49.
Crashes every time I try to change the channel window, please fix it...

Every time I try to change to another channel the app crashes, I spent my money on it... so, you should at least fix it, otherwise, just make it available for free, so people can test before they buy, I feel ripped off
Mango 3.0.2 adds powerful conversation tools and broad reliability improvements.
• Search conversations with /search and the new Find toolbar, including older server history when Soju supports it
• Format outgoing text with bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, monospace, foreground colors, and background colors
• Render SVG avatars and link previews accurately
• Open Soju DM notifications in the correct conversation and fetch missed direct-message history after reconnecting
• Follow server-side channel renames and use modern IRCv3 replies, reactions, and extended monitor
• Display server-advertised network icons and refreshed bubble avatars
• Choose the restored Classic light and dark app icons
• Customize CTCP USERINFO replies in Identity settings
• Improved read markers, parted-channel cleanup, recent-activity sorting, rich-text pasting, history performance, and overall stability
Plus many smaller accessibility and interface improvements across iPhone and iPad.
