We purchased our first Mazda about 7 years ago and then changed to Seat. Big mistake as they are just not built as well as the Mazdas. So we’re back with Mazda again and thought I’d give the app a go. What a disappointment. I’m not sure why but it’s way behind other brands that tell you important details such as windows being left open, if the car is locked, mileage etc. This app doesn’t tell me anything, not even the model details. Just ‘Mazda 3’. It shows absolutely nothing of interest at all.
Perhaps the service section will be useful but the service isn’t due for a year so what is the point of having an app sitting there dormant for a year before it shows the service info which I’ll look at and then it’ll be dormant again for another year.
Pointless application that needs way more thought and time put into it. The car is amazing so it’s really odd how Mazda can let themselves down so much. All it would take is to look at other brands for ideas and to see how far behind they are. I bet they’ve already paid a team of overpriced researchers who told them that service information and a single button to call a breakdown number is all the customer requires...
New app simply isn't good enough!
So along came your new app that was supposed to an improvement on your previous app. Well, I think you may need to go back to the drawing board. Gone are the miles shown in service reminder and in comes kilometres... why?
Vehicle manuals have disappeared, nowhere to be seen..... why?
The navagation manual is supposed to be available to 'download' but it's simply unavailable......why?
I could go on but simply suggest you bring back the old app, which did work.
Previous version at least was showing status of extended warranty and I could call roadside assistance from app. Here I have neither. Contacted Mazda support several times , first time I was promised that issue solved I should see info about warranty, but it didn’t appear neither after 48 hours nor 7 days. No answer on my consecutive emails.
What’s a point rolling out new app with such problems and having support that can’t help?!
